Is Faraday Future making a $30,000 electric minivan?
There is no confirmed sub-$30,000 price for the FX Super One in the cited company materials. The $20,000–$30,000 target range Faraday Future previously announced was for the separate FX 5 model, not the Super One. The same strategy announcement put the FX 6 target at $30,000–$50,000; neither figure establishes Super One pricing. Faraday Future’s January 8, 2025 strategy announcement lists those targets for the other models, while the May 5, 2026 Super One update discusses powertrain plans and financing rather than a Super One price.
What is the current Super One plan?
Faraday Future said it had paused the original 400V Super One cooperation project and planned to pursue one of two configurations for the first mass-production batch: an 800V battery-electric vehicle (BEV) or the AIHER hybrid extended-range version. The company described Super One as an EAI-MPV aimed at the mainstream market. Its release did not establish verified production specifications for either option.

These are the company’s May 2026 estimates, measured from securing financing—not calendar delivery dates. The release does not provide a verified Super One price, range, charging time, efficiency, or performance comparison between the two routes. The SEC-filed release also lists funding, homologation, development agreements, and a Hanford facility occupancy certificate among execution risks.

When will the FX Super One be delivered?
Faraday Future has not confirmed a delivery date. Its release says full mass-production deliveries will launch only after securing sufficient financing from strategic or medium-to-long-term investors. The company described its delivery windows as projections that begin once that funding is in place. They should not be read as proof that financing has been secured or that deliveries have started.
The company has also described deliveries as planned to begin in 2026, but that expectation is subject to the same financing and execution conditions. It is not a confirmed customer-delivery milestone.

Is the FX Super One in production?
The available statements do not establish that mass production has begun. Faraday X’s official Super One page says pre-orders are open, but taking pre-orders is not the same as manufacturing or delivering vehicles. The page describes shareholder benefits, including a voucher and priority delivery, as conditional on converting a refundable pre-order into a paid firm order.
Faraday Future separately reported shipping 68 EAI robots cumulatively as of April 30, 2026. That company-reported figure concerns robotics, not Super One manufacturing or vehicle deliveries.
