Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesTo see where Formula 1 drivers are on track, open Formula 1’s Driver Tracker Map, part of its broader Live Timing feature set. The map gives a bird’s-eye view of track positions; leaderboard, sector, tyre and other session data are related live-timing features rather than map layers.
What the F1 live timing map shows
Formula 1 describes the Driver Tracker Map as a way to “Get a bird’s-eye-view of the race with Driver Tracker Map.” It is the track-position view for following drivers during a session, while other Live Timing panels supply additional race context.
- Driver Tracker Map: a bird’s-eye view of drivers’ positions around the circuit.
- Leaderboard: live running-order information.
- Sectors: sector performance data and times.
- Tyres: tyre usage history.
- Other session information: F1 TV describes live timing that includes lap times, event weather and race strategy; telemetry is also among the additional live feeds described for US Apple TV coverage in 2026.
These are connected ways to follow a session, but the map itself is specifically the track-position view. See Formula 1 Live Timing and the F1 TV overview.
How to access Driver Tracker Map
Formula 1 lists Live Timing features with F1 TV Access, Pro and Premium, and says live timing is available through the F1 App as part of a subscription plan. The features included in a plan—and which video or onboard-camera options are available—depend on the plan and market.

- Check the current F1 TV subscription page for your country and review the plan details.
- Choose an eligible subscription for your market, then use the F1 App or the supported viewing platform listed for your region.
- Open Live Timing during a session and select the Driver Tracker Map to follow track positions. Use the leaderboard and sector views separately when you want running order or timing detail.
The subscription page lists web, iOS, Android, Amazon Fire, Roku and Chromecast among its platforms. Formula 1 notes that availability and plan details vary by country, and that a plan must match both the subscriber’s resident country and the country where they subscribe. Confirm the local offer on the official page rather than relying on a plan description from another region.
Map and timing access versus live video
Access to Live Timing does not by itself establish that a subscription includes every live video feed or onboard camera. Formula 1 lists different eligibility for live race sessions and onboard cameras, so compare the precise feature list for the plan available in your country before subscribing.

For viewers in the United States, Formula 1 announced that fans can watch every session live on Apple TV for the 2026 season, with additional feeds including Driver Tracker, real-time telemetry and timing. That announcement is US-specific; it does not establish Apple TV coverage in other countries. It also describes Apple Maps circuit features for selected 2026 races, including circuit details and spectator navigation information. See Formula 1’s Apple TV announcement for the stated scope.

If you are watching a race on a television or computer, keeping Live Timing open on a phone or tablet can make it easier to glance at track positions and timing without leaving the video. A tablet is optional, not a requirement, and Formula 1 does not endorse a particular model. Choose a device you already have that can run the F1 App or open the supported web experience in your market.
