What is the Apollo Project EVO?
Project EVO is Apollo Future Mobility Group’s follow-on hypercar project to the Apollo IE. Apollo introduced it at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in November 2021. Its 2022 annual report continued to describe it as a collectible internal-combustion hypercar project. Apollo’s 2022 annual report provides that corporate framing.
The launch establishes what Apollo announced and how it described the car; it does not, by itself, establish a finished customer-production model. The distinction matters because the later corporate updates documented development and an exhibition appearance, not confirmed deliveries.
What makes its design stand out?
Apollo’s launch materials describe a carbon monocoque and an active aerodynamic system built around an adjustable, deployable rear spoiler. The company also highlighted aero fins and triangular intakes as part of the design. These are manufacturer descriptions, rather than independently verified performance findings. Apollo’s 2021 annual report outlines the launch and design; its November 2021 announcement describes the chassis.

In that announcement, Apollo claimed the new chassis met and exceeded FIA LMP2 safety requirements. That statement should be read as the company’s engineering claim: the available material does not independently verify it.
How does Project EVO differ from the Apollo IE?
The documented comparison is chiefly about positioning and design. Apollo called Project EVO a successor project to the IE and described its own chassis and aerodynamic features. The sources do not provide a verified, like-for-like set of final specifications with which to compare power, acceleration, weight, or track performance.

Did the Apollo EVO go into production?
The available corporate timeline does not confirm production or customer deliveries. In its 2023 interim business review, Apollo said Project EVO remained under development and that pre-orders were expected to open soon. That was a forecast at the time, not confirmation that orders subsequently opened. Apollo’s 2023 interim review records the dated status.
Apollo’s 2025 annual report says the vehicle appeared at the Wynn Signature hypercar exhibition in Macau in 2024. An exhibition appearance confirms that it was shown; it does not establish production or delivery. Later corporate materials use the name Apollo EVO, but the evidence reviewed does not confirm its present production status, price, customer deliveries, or final performance specifications. Apollo’s 2025 annual report documents the exhibition appearance.

What can—and can’t—be said about its performance?
The cited corporate material supports the broad concept: an internal-combustion hypercar project with a carbon monocoque and active aero. It does not establish a final, current specification sheet. Commonly repeated figures for horsepower, acceleration, price, production quantity, or build time should not be treated as confirmed specifications without a dated primary source establishing what each number refers to.
