The defining difference is under the hood: Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) replaces the standard Corvette Stingray’s naturally aspirated setup with a twin-turbocharged, LT2-based 6.2-liter V8 that SVE advertises at 1,000 hp. The limited-run Yenko/SC package also adds forged engine internals, fuel-system and transmission upgrades, Yenko-specific wheels and trim, and numbered accessories. That horsepower figure is the builder’s claim, not an independently verified test result.
How the 2024 Yenko Corvette makes its advertised 1,000 hp
SVE describes the engine as a custom-built, blueprinted aluminum-block 6.2-liter LT2-based V8. Its 2024 brochure lists forged internals, upgraded cylinder heads and valvetrain, a custom camshaft, and a custom intercooled intake manifold. Twin Garrett 58 mm ceramic ball-bearing, water-cooled turbochargers provide the boost. SVE also lists upgraded high- and low-pressure fuel systems and a custom performance calibration. The builder advertises the result at 1,000 hp; the cited materials do not provide a torque figure or independent output measurement.
- Forged steel crankshaft, forged H-beam connecting rods, and forged 2618 aluminum pistons.
- High-strength ARP head and main studs, CNC-ported high-flow cylinder heads, and upgraded valvetrain.
- Proprietary custom-ground camshaft and custom intercooled intake manifold.
- Twin Garrett 58 mm ceramic ball-bearing, water-cooled turbochargers.
- Upgraded high- and low-pressure fuel systems, custom calibration, and boost-by-gear control.
The exhaust retains the factory dual-mode function and ends in custom dual-dual tips, offered in silver or black. SVE’s brochure does not give acceleration, quarter-mile, or other independently measured performance figures. See SVE’s 2024 brochure and 2024 product page for the listed specifications.
What changes beyond the engine
Transmission and power delivery
SVE lists an upgraded dual-clutch unit in the transmission and boost-by-gear control. The brochure does not quantify how these changes affect acceleration or provide a separate transmission performance rating.

Yenko-badged brake calipers are red as listed standard equipment; custom colors are optional.
Exterior details
Yenko/SC side stripes and hood graphics come in nine colors, with carbon fiber listed as an option. Three Yenko crest body badges complete the branded exterior. SVE’s California and motorsports-use warning
SVE’s 2024 brochure states: “The YENKO/SC® 1000HP C8 Corvette package is not emission legal in California, and can only be legally used while participating in sanctioned motorsports events.” This is the builder’s stated warning, not a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction legal analysis. Buyers should verify applicable rules for their location and intended use.

How the 2024 car differs from the 2025 Yenko/SC
Keep the model years separate when comparing advertised output. SVE’s 2024 materials describe one 1,000-hp package. Its 2025 materials describe two offerings: a 1,000-hp Stage I and a 1,250-hp Stage II. The 2025 Stage II figure and its associated specifications do not describe the 2024 car. SVE’s 2025 product page and 2025 brochure identify those later-year versions.
