BMW’s all-electric vehicle listing and SUV listing provide the starting prices used for the ranking. The iX3 50 xDrive, at $61,500, is listed below the i4 xDrive40 at $62,300, so the SUV variants do not all sit above the sedan and Gran Coupe variants by price.
How prices differ within each BMW EV family
BMW i4
The listed i4 variants start at $57,900 for the eDrive40, rise to $62,300 for the xDrive40, and reach $70,700 for the M60. Comparing a specific trim matters: a single starting price for the i4 would conceal a $12,800 spread across these listings.

BMW i5
The i5 eDrive40 starts at $67,100, the xDrive40 at $70,100, and the M60 at $84,100. BMW’s EV cost-comparison page lists the i5 eDrive40 at $68,550 instead. This ranking uses the $67,100 figure from BMW’s all-model listing, which also gives the other i5 trim prices; check BMW’s configurator or a BMW Center for a current quote.
BMW iX
The listed iX SUV range runs from $75,150 for the xDrive45 through $88,500 for the xDrive60 to $111,500 for the M70. These are separate trim starting prices, not a single price for every iX.

The iX3 50 xDrive is listed at $61,500. BMW’s SUV listing is the source for this SUV price; the EV cost-comparison page shows only part of the listed SUV lineup, so it is not the sole basis for the ranking.
