The list below covers models identified as offering a manual for the 2026 model year; availability depends on trim and configuration, and a model-year offering does not guarantee a nearby dealer has one in stock. Check the manufacturer’s current build tool and local dealer inventory before you shop. “Asian” here refers to automaker brand heritage, not where each vehicle is built.
Which Asian-brand vehicles offer a manual for 2026?
These are the U.S.-market candidates supported by current model-year information. Manuals are not necessarily available on every trim, body style or powertrain within a model line. The list is not a global inventory of every manual vehicle sold by Asian automakers.

How to narrow the list by the kind of vehicle you need
For a small, lightweight roadster
The Mazda MX-5 Miata is the two-seat convertible choice. Its manual is standard on the 2026 lineup described by Mazda, with Sport and Club available only with the manual and Grand Touring offering a choice.
For an everyday hatchback or sedan
The Mazda3 Premium hatchback is the compact, front-wheel-drive option, but the manual is tied to that specific configuration. For a more performance-focused sedan or hatch, compare the Civic Si, Civic Type R, Integra, Elantra N and WRX by exact trim and equipment rather than assuming every version of each model has a clutch pedal.

For a rear-wheel-drive sports coupe
The BRZ and GR86 are rear-drive coupe choices, while the GR Supra offers a manual with its 3.0-liter turbo engine. Check the individual model’s current trim sheet before comparing powertrain or equipment; the roundup does not specify every grade’s transmission alternatives.
For an all-wheel-drive performance hatchback
The Toyota GR Corolla pairs its manual with GR-FOUR all-wheel drive and a turbocharged three-cylinder. It is a distinct proposition from a front-wheel-drive compact hatch such as the manual Mazda3.

For a pickup
The Tacoma is the manual pickup in this list. Its manual availability is tied to three named grades and two cab-and-bed configurations, so verify both when searching inventory.
What to verify before you order or visit a dealer
- Choose the exact model year and trim. Search the 2026 build tool or specifications page for the named grade; a manual listed for one trim does not establish availability across the range.
- Confirm body and powertrain combinations. The Mazda3 manual is a hatchback Premium configuration, and Tacoma’s manual is limited to specified grades and cab/bed combinations. Verify driven wheels and engine as well as transmission.
- Distinguish a manual from a manual-shift mode. Paddle shifters or an automatic gearbox with selectable gears are not a clutch-operated manual transmission.
- Check current dealer inventory and ordering status. Model-year specifications describe an offered configuration, not a guarantee of local stock or a particular price. Availability and allocations can change.
How many manual vehicles are available overall?
GearJunkie’s 2026 U.S. roundup counts 29 model-year vehicles with a manual across all manufacturers and reports 19 manufacturers. Those are the publication’s editorial totals, not an Asian-brand-only count or a government statistic. Its list provides cross-check coverage for candidates including the Elantra N, BRZ and WRX.
