There is no fair, verified ten-bike ranking here: manufacturers publish range under different conditions, and current comparable data supports eight candidates rather than ten. The most striking long-range claim belongs to Verge’s TS Pro, while LiveWire ONE offers a useful highway-range and DC-fast-charge comparison. For an urban commute, Can-Am’s 2026 Pulse has clearly stated city, WMTC combined, and sustained-speed figures. These are manufacturer claims—not results from a common independent test—so match the test basis and intended use before comparing numbers.

How to compare electric motorcycle range and torque

“Long range” can mean a city-cycle estimate, a combined test, or a sustained-speed result. Those figures are not interchangeable: steady highway riding can produce a substantially different result from stop-and-go city riding. LiveWire says its range estimates follow Motorcycle Industry Council recommendations and SAE J2982; Can-Am separately lists city, WMTC combined, and sustained-speed estimates.

Torque needs similar care. Verge describes 1,000 Nm at the rear wheel from its hub motor, while other brands may publish motor torque. Treat those values as manufacturer specifications, not a direct contest between identical measurements. None of the figures below comes from a shared independent comparison test.

Eight electric motorcycles with published range and performance details

Motorcycle Published range Torque and performance Charging and intended use
Verge TS Pro Up to 350 km (20.2 kWh pack) or 600 km (33.3 kWh pack), per Verge’s product page 1,000 Nm at the rear wheel; 102 kW; 0–100 km/h in 3.5 seconds CCS-compatible DC charging; larger pack listed for up to 200 kW. Delivery estimates vary by region.
LiveWire ONE 146 miles city; 95 miles combined; 70 miles highway 84 ft-lb; 100 hp (75 kW); 0–60 mph in 3.0 seconds DC fast charge to 80% in 40 minutes; full charge listed at one hour. Sport-oriented street motorcycle.
LiveWire S2 Alpinista 120 miles city; 89 miles combined; 71 miles at sustained 55 mph 194 ft-lb; 84 hp (63 kW); 0–60 mph in 3.0 seconds LiveWire publishes its range estimates under its stated test approach. Street-focused S2 model.
LiveWire S2 Mulholland 121 miles city; 91 miles combined; 73 miles at sustained 55 mph 194 ft-lb; 84 hp (63 kW); 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds Level 2 charging to 80% in 78 minutes. Cruiser-style road use.

Can-Am Pulse (2026) 100 miles city; 80 miles WMTC combined; 55 miles at sustained 50 mph 53 lb-ft (72 Nm) from 0–4,600 rpm; 47 hp peak, 27 hp continuous 6.6 kW onboard Level 1/Level 2 charger; Type 1 J1772 connector. Urban roadster.
Can-Am Origin (2026) 90 miles city 47 hp; 0–60 mph in 4.3 seconds; comparable torque and sustained-speed range not stated on the cited page Designed for on- and off-road dual-sport use.
Energica Experia 153 miles combined; 261 miles urban (manufacturer claims at 2022 launch) 115 Nm; 75 kW / 101 hp peak Launch material listed DC charging to 80% in 40 minutes at up to 24 kW. Touring model; current availability is unconfirmed here.

What stands out by riding purpose

For the biggest published range claim

Verge’s TS Pro page lists up to 600 km with its 33.3 kWh battery and up to 350 km with the 20.2 kWh pack. Those are manufacturer claims, not independently verified real-world distances. A separate Verge announcement dated May 1, 2026, describes up to 370 miles for an extended-range option. Because the product page and announcement state different figures and configurations, do not treat them as one standardized result; check the exact battery option and current product listing. Verge’s product page gives estimated delivery windows of Q4 2026 for the EU and U.S., and Q4 2027 for the UK and other regions, so its specifications do not imply immediate delivery in every market.

For a road motorcycle with a stated highway result

LiveWire ONE is listed at 70 miles highway range and DC fast charging to 80% in 40 minutes. The S2 models publish sustained-55-mph estimates: 71 miles for Alpinista, 73 for Mulholland, and 70 for Del Mar. Those figures make a more relevant comparison for steady faster riding than city estimates do, but actual range still varies with conditions.

For commuting and urban riding

Can-Am’s 2026 Pulse sheet is unusually explicit about three test contexts: 100 miles city, 80 miles WMTC combined, and 55 miles at sustained 50 mph. Its 53 lb-ft (72 Nm) torque is listed across 0–4,600 rpm. The Origin is a different proposition: Can-Am describes it as an on- and off-road dual-sport and lists 90 miles city range, but the cited page does not provide a sustained-speed range or comparable torque figure.

For touring, with an availability caveat

Energica presented the Experia as a long-distance touring motorcycle in its May 2022 launch release. That release gives 153 miles combined and 261 miles urban, alongside a 22.5 kWh maximum / 19.6 kWh nominal battery and 112 liters of launch-edition pannier and top-case capacity. These are historical launch claims, not confirmation that the bike is currently in production or for sale. Check current manufacturer status, service support, parts access, and local availability before treating it as a purchase candidate.

Charging details that affect trip planning

Charge times are only comparable when the charging method, connector, and state-of-charge window are known. The cited figures below are manufacturer-published specifications, not a promise of the same result at every charger.

  • Verge TS Pro: CCS-compatible DC charging; the product page lists up to 200 kW for the 33.3 kWh pack.
  • LiveWire ONE: DC fast charging to 80% in 40 minutes; full charge listed at one hour.
  • LiveWire S2 Mulholland and Del Mar: Level 2 charging to 80% in 78 minutes.
  • Can-Am Pulse (2026): 6.6 kW onboard Level 1/Level 2 charger and Type 1 J1772 connector.
  • Energica Experia at 2022 launch: DC fast charging to 80% in 40 minutes at up to 24 kW, according to the historical release.

Do not assume one charging cable or connector works across all these motorcycles. Match equipment to the individual bike’s connector and charging capability.

What this comparison cannot establish

It does not establish a single real-world range winner: no common independent test across these models is available in the cited specifications. LiveWire’s city, combined, and sustained-highway figures and Can-Am’s city, WMTC, and sustained-50-mph figures should remain labeled by their test basis rather than compressed into one ranking.

Zero’s current site lists SR/S, SR/F, S, DSR/X, DSR, DS, FXE, FX, XE, and XB model families and provides a comparison tool, but the cited material does not include the current model-level range and torque specifications needed to include a Zero here. Older figures should not be substituted for current model data. For any purchase, confirm the current model year, regional availability, dealer and service access, charging details, and price directly with the manufacturer or local dealer.
