What did “Last Call” mean for the 2023 Charger and Challenger?
On July 17, 2023, Dodge said production of the 2023 Charger and Challenger would end no later than December 31, 2023, and announced a final order drive for the HEMI-powered versions. The name “Last Call” referred to that outgoing generation and its special editions. Dodge had already introduced six; it named the Challenger Demon 170 as the seventh and final edition. Was the next-generation Dodge Charger fully electric?
No. In its March 5, 2024 unveiling, Dodge presented the Charger as a lineup with two kinds of powertrains: battery-electric Daytona models and gasoline SIXPACK models using a 3.0-liter twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six. The announcement covered the Charger; it did not announce a fully electric Challenger arriving in 2024. Dodge’s 2024 lineup announcement.
Electric Charger Daytona
Dodge listed the 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack at 670 horsepower and described 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds as expected. It listed the Daytona R/T at 496 horsepower. These are manufacturer-published specifications and an acceleration estimate, not independent test results. Dodge’s 2024 specifications.

Gasoline Charger SIXPACK
Dodge announced two Hurricane inline-six outputs: 550 horsepower for the SIXPACK H.O. and 420 horsepower for the SIXPACK S.O. Those figures are manufacturer claims from the 2024 announcement, not results from a comparative road test. Dodge’s 2024 lineup announcement.
Tim Kuniskis, identified in the Dodge release as Dodge brand chief executive officer at Stellantis, described the electric Daytona Scat Pack as delivering “Charger Hellcat Redeye levels of performance” and said the SIXPACK models would produce better horsepower and torque numbers than the outgoing 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI engines. When were the electric and gasoline Chargers expected to arrive?
Dodge’s March 2024 schedule projected different production starts by body style and powertrain. Those dates were launch plans, not confirmation that production began on schedule. Stellantis later updated the timeline and reported that orders had opened for some Charger versions.

What does the latest ordering update establish?
On June 10, 2026, Dodge said orders for next-generation electric Daytona and gasoline SIXPACK variants were open through the official European importer, with first deliveries expected from September 2026. This is an update for Europe only; it does not establish U.S. order status, delivery timing, dealer inventory, or availability in other markets. Dodge’s European announcement.

How should you compare the new Charger versions?
The versions differ in propulsion, body style, trim, and advertised output. The figures below are manufacturer-published specifications from Dodge’s March 2024 announcement; the 0–60 mph time is explicitly an estimate.
