That is below 800 for the first nine months—not a full-year total—and compares with 7,075 in the same period of 2025, an 89% decline calculated from the reported counts.
How many Charger Daytona EVs has Dodge sold in 2026?
Stellantis reports 767 U.S. sales for the Charger BEV line from January through September 2026. Dodge markets its electric Charger as the Charger Daytona; the company’s sales table uses the broader label “Charger BEV.” The figure is a U.S. sales count, not a worldwide total, factory-production figure, or confirmed count of customer deliveries. Stellantis’s Q3 2026 U.S. sales release was published October 1, 2026.
Because the latest reported period is the first nine months of the year, “less than 800 this year” should be read as a year-to-date statement through September. It does not establish the Daytona’s full-calendar-year 2026 result.
How did sales change quarter by quarter?
The decline appears in each of the three reported quarters. Stellantis’s figures compare each 2026 quarter with the same quarter in 2025:

The quarterly and cumulative counts come from Stellantis’s Q3 table; Q1 and Q2 releases provide the corresponding quarterly and first-half detail: Q1 2026 and Q2 2026. The 89% cumulative decline is calculated from the reported totals: (7,075 − 767) / 7,075. The table’s quarterly percentages are reported year-over-year changes.
Are gas Chargers outselling the electric Daytona?
Yes, by a wide margin in the first nine months of 2026. Stellantis reported 8,029 Charger ICE sales and 767 Charger BEV sales in the U.S. through September. Combined, the two lines totaled 8,796, compared with 8,943 in the same period of 2025.

That comparison shows a sharp shift in the reported powertrain mix while total Charger volume changed only modestly. It does not show why buyers chose one version over the other. The company separates ICE and BEV in its sales table; the combined total is arithmetic from those categories.
Why are Charger Daytona sales down?
The sales figures establish the size and timing of the drop, but they do not identify its cause. Stellantis’s releases do not quantify the effects of pricing, incentives, vehicle availability, charging access, or buyer preference on Daytona sales. Those factors should not be treated as proven explanations based on the sales table alone.

For context rather than a causal explanation, Dodge lists a U.S. starting MSRP of $59,995 for the 2026 two-door Charger Daytona Scat Pack. Its listed gasoline Charger R/T starts at $49,995 and the gasoline Scat Pack at $54,995; four-door versions cost an additional $2,000. Dodge says these starting prices exclude taxes, title, and destination charges. They are manufacturer-published MSRPs, not transaction prices. In its October 1 release, Michael Orange, Stellantis’s Head of U.S. Retail Sales and Network Performance, said: “Against a highly competitive industry backdrop, we delivered a disciplined third quarter, supported by our motivated dealer network, which continued to drive our retail business.” This is a broad comment on the company’s U.S. retail performance, not an explanation of the Charger Daytona’s sales decline.
