Bludicrous is still listed as a color for the 2026 Dodge Charger, but the headline’s “up to $12,500” referred to a set of offers reported in March 2025 for eligible 2024 Charger Daytona inventory—not a discount available to every buyer today. Dodge Canada separately lists a current offer of up to C$6,500 on eligible 2026 Chargers through November 2, 2026; that Canadian offer does not establish a U.S. incentive.
What the Bludicrous paint and $12,500 headline referred to
On March 18, 2025, Electrek reported that the electric Charger Daytona was arriving at dealerships in Bludicrous, a blue exterior color. The article listed a $795 charge for the paint at that time and said the color was also expected on the four-door Charger and gas-powered SIXPACK models later in 2025. Electrek’s March 2025 report is a historical snapshot, not a current price sheet.
The report’s “up to $12,500” combined three stated offers for eligible 2024 Charger Daytona inventory: $7,500 National Consumer Cash, $3,000 National Dodge Performance Days Combo Bonus Cash, and a $2,000 conquest offer. It also described 0% financing for 72 months, a $3,000 Bonus Cash Allowance, or leases as low as $519. Those were reported offer alternatives and terms at the time; the article does not establish that they were all stackable or remain available.
Is Bludicrous available on the 2026 Charger?
Yes. Dodge’s current 2026 Charger information includes Bludicrous in the color lineup. Dodge’s reviewed U.S. pages do not establish that the paint still costs $795, so treat that amount as the price Electrek reported in March 2025 rather than a confirmed 2026 charge. What the 2026 electric Charger costs and offers
Dodge lists the 2026 all-electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack with starting U.S. MSRPs of $59,995 for the two-door and $61,995 for the four-door, before taxes, title, and fees. These are starting prices for the 2026 model, not a restatement of the 2024 inventory prices associated with the historical discount.
| 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack | Starting U.S. MSRP | Dodge-listed performance |
|---|---|---|
| Two-door | $59,995, before taxes, title, and fees | 670 hp, 627 lb-ft, 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds |
| Four-door | $61,995, before taxes, title, and fees | 670 hp, 627 lb-ft, 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds |
Dodge specifies standard all-wheel drive for the Daytona Scat Pack and describes it as “the quickest and most powerful muscle car in the world.” That performance superlative is Dodge’s marketing claim, not an independent comparative finding. Current model details are on Dodge’s 2026 Charger page.

What current Charger discount is verified?
Dodge Canada lists cash discounts of up to C$6,500 on eligible, new and previously unregistered 2026 Chargers. Its page identifies C$3,500 for the R/T two-door and R/T four-door exceptions. The offer is for Canada, ends November 2, 2026, and cannot be combined with alternative lease or financing rates. The headline amount is a maximum, not a guaranteed discount on every trim or transaction. Check the Dodge Canada 2026 Charger lineup and offer terms for the market-specific details.
This Canadian offer does not show that U.S. buyers can claim C$6,500—or the old U.S. $12,500 combination. The sources reviewed do not establish current U.S. incentive terms.

How to check whether a Charger offer applies to you
- Confirm the country and market. A Dodge Canada incentive applies in Canada; do not use it to infer a U.S. offer.
- Match the model year, trim, and body style. The historical $12,500 report concerned eligible 2024 Charger Daytona inventory. The Canadian offer concerns eligible 2026 Chargers and specifies R/T exceptions.
- Check the exact vehicle and buyer eligibility. Ask the dealer to confirm the VIN, whether the vehicle is new and previously unregistered where required, and whether any customer qualification applies.
- Compare the deal structure and restrictions. Verify whether cash discounts can be combined with financing or lease terms, and request the full written offer for the transaction you intend to use.
- Confirm the date and final price. For the cited Canadian offer, the stated end date is November 2, 2026. Review taxes, title, fees, and any dealer contribution separately from MSRP or advertised incentive amounts.
