Yes—but the headline-grabbing $59,990 Cybertruck price was a temporary U.S. offer in February 2026, not the latest reported price. Reuters said it lasted just 10 days. By August 26, Car and Driver reported that Tesla had raised the two dual-motor trims by $5,000 each. The price story is a sequence of dated changes, not one lasting drop.
What the Cybertruck was reported to cost in August 2026
The most recent located price report, published by Car and Driver on August 26, 2026, put the U.S. Dual-Motor AWD at $77,235 and Premium AWD at $87,235, after increases of $5,000 per trim. The publication’s listed prices include the destination charge. It reported the Cyberbeast at $102,235, unchanged in that adjustment. These are reported prices, not a live check of Tesla’s configurator.

Why the $59,990 headline is misleading without a date
In February 2026, Reuters reported that Tesla introduced a U.S. Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck for $59,990, with the price available for only the next 10 days. That limited offer should not be treated as a standing price or as the current cost of the truck. Reuters also reported that Tesla cut the Cyberbeast from $114,990 to $99,990 at the time.

| When reported | Trim | Listed price or change | Destination charge | Duration or equipment context |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| February 2026 | Dual-Motor AWD | $59,990 | Not stated by Reuters | Price effective for the next 10 days, according to Reuters |
| February 2026 | Cyberbeast | Reduced from $114,990 to $99,990 | Not stated by Reuters | Reuters reported discontinuation of a Luxe Package that had included Supervised Full Self-Driving and Supercharger access; the sticker-price reduction therefore does not by itself establish an equivalent equipment bundle |

Cars.com’s June 16, 2026 guide listed three U.S. Cybertruck prices with a $1,995 destination charge included. Its figures differ from the prices Car and Driver reported after the August adjustment, so they belong to separate dated snapshots rather than a single undated lineup.

What to check before treating any figure as your price
- Check Tesla’s live U.S. configurator for the exact trim and price when you are ready to order. The available Tesla page did not provide readable prices, so the figures above should be understood as dated third-party reports.
- Confirm the destination charge and any other delivery costs shown for your order; the February Reuters figures did not state destination-charge treatment, while Cars.com and Car and Driver explicitly included it in their listed figures.
- Compare the included equipment as well as the sticker price, particularly when evaluating the February Cyberbeast reduction and its discontinued Luxe Package.
