Where was Daniel Ricciardo spotted in Perth?
PerthNow reported on 11 January 2024 that Ricciardo visited Cup & Co Cafe in Floreat, a Perth suburb, during the F1 off-season. The report said the cafe welcomed him in an Instagram caption joking that he was its “newest team member.” The post itself was not independently verified for this account. (PerthNow, 11 January 2024)
PerthNow also reported that Ricciardo and former McLaren teammate Lando Norris had stopped at Hoodburger in Inglewood days earlier, citing a Facebook post from the restaurant. That was a separate stop from the Cup & Co Cafe sighting.
What insecurity did Ricciardo talk about?
In the interview with Miller on Hot Laps, Ricciardo reportedly acknowledged that he has insecurities and mentioned his nose and profile. PerthNow quoted him as saying: “Of course. If I say no, people are going to call me a liar because everyone has insecurities.”

PerthNow quoted Ricciardo as saying he did not feel he needed cosmetic surgery: “But it’s not to a point that I’m like ‘yeah I need to get a nose job’. I’m also very much like, we were made to look unique and ourselves, so we have to embrace that and be comfortable.”
