It is an accessory-based way to camp from a passenger vehicle, not a new factory-built campervan. The awning is intended for Dacia models equipped with roof bars; it does not require a 4×4 drivetrain. Dacia calls the approach accessible, but the available sources do not establish that the full setup is cheap compared with other camping options.
What changed in Dacia’s InNature range?
Dacia Media Spain announced the new awning on 5 October 2026. Its canvas is made with 40% recycled material, and telescopic poles support deployment. Dacia describes it as providing shade and shelter for activities such as cooking and relaxing, or for taking cover. The announcement says it fits Dacia models with roof bars; it does not provide a universal model-by-model fitment list. Dacia Media Spain
The update also adds the Sandero Stepway to the InNature ecosystem, which already includes Jogger, Duster and Bigster. That is an expansion of accessory availability, not evidence that every InNature item fits all four models.
How does the Sleep Pack turn a car into a sleeping space?
Dacia UK describes the removable Sleep Pack as a 3-in-1 module: it converts the rear into a double bed, opens as a tray table and leaves storage available. The UK page says the 190 × 130 cm mattress can be set up in less than two minutes. Storage capacity depends on vehicle version: Dacia lists 160 or 175 litres for Duster and 220 litres for Jogger. The Sleep Pack is an interior sleeping arrangement. The new roof awning adds an outdoor sheltered area; it does not replace the bed module. Dacia’s October announcement also mentions YouClip additions—a glasses case and a shopping bag made with 100% recycled material—but these are ancillary accessories rather than core camping equipment. What does the Dacia tailgate tent provide?
Dacia UK lists a separate tent that attaches at the tailgate. The tent itself measures 210 × 220 cm and is listed for two to three people; its porch measures 70 × 220 cm, and the listed weight is 8.6 kg. With the tent attached, Dacia gives the overall setup dimensions as 560 cm long, 220 cm wide and 170 cm high. The measurements and compatibility statements in the table come from Dacia’s UK product page and Spanish announcement. They describe different accessories, and the sources do not establish that every combination can be used together.
What do the accessories cost in the UK?
Dacia’s February 2026 Bigster accessories brochure lists the following prices in pounds. They are UK brochure prices from that document, not a current universal price list; Dacia says availability and specification can vary by country and directs buyers to confirm current details. The brochure distinguishes Sleep Pack box references for 4×4/HEV and TCe 140/EcoG 140 variants, so confirm the correct reference for the exact vehicle. The figures show accessory prices for Bigster in a dated UK brochure; they do not establish the total cost of a camping setup, which also depends on the vehicle and chosen equipment. The reviewed sources do not provide a like-for-like comparison with campervan conversions, so they cannot substantiate a broad claim that the overall approach is cheaper.

No. InNature is an accessories ecosystem, and the October 2026 awning announcement describes roof-bar compatibility rather than a drivetrain requirement. Dacia’s separate 18 February 2026 announcement says its hybrid-G 150 4×4 powertrain is available on Duster and Bigster; it does not say every InNature vehicle is four-wheel drive or that every accessory is compatible with those versions. Dacia describes hybrid-G 150 4×4 as combining hybrid technology, an LPG flex-fuel system and all-wheel drive. The same announcement claims up to 60% electric-mode driving time over an urban cycle, 30% lower running costs and 20 g/km lower CO₂ emissions compared with Dacia’s current 4×4 ICE offering, and up to 1,500 km WLTP range for Duster. These are manufacturer claims from that announcement, not independent test results.

- Confirm the exact model, model year, powertrain and accessory part reference; availability and fitment can vary.
- For the roof awning, verify that the vehicle has the required roof bars and that the specific awning is approved for that configuration.
- For the tailgate tent, use the vehicle-specific compatibility information; Dacia UK names Jogger and Duster.
- Check the relevant country’s current price and specification rather than treating a dated UK brochure price as universal.
- Decide whether the priority is an indoor bed with remaining storage, outdoor shade, or an enclosed tailgate shelter; they serve different purposes.
