What is the Duster InNature Sleep Pack?
The InNature Sleep Pack is a removable accessory designed to convert the rear of a Dacia Duster into a place to sleep. Dacia describes it as a 3-in-1 pack: a folding bed, storage and a tray table. Its official product page gives the bed dimensions as 190 × 130 cm and says it can be unfolded in less than two minutes. Is it really a 4×4 camper?
The headline’s “4×4” describes the Duster configuration discussed by New Atlas, but it should not be read as proof that every Duster has the same drivetrain or off-road equipment. Trim and powertrain matter. For example, Dacia UK’s technical comparison identifies its cited Expression mild-hybrid 140 as front-wheel drive, not four-wheel drive. Treat capability as specific to the vehicle you are considering, and check the technical data for its exact trim and powertrain rather than applying an off-road claim to the whole range. What the Sleep Pack does—and does not—provide
- Sleeping platform: a folding bed base up to 190 cm long and 130 cm wide, according to Dacia.
- Storage: integrated storage, with capacity varying by vehicle version.
- Tray table: the pack can be arranged for use as a table.
- Not a full camper interior: the described kit is a removable bed-and-storage accessory, not evidence of a built-in kitchen, bathroom or full-time living space.
Dacia UK also lists accessories including blackout blinds, a tailgate tent and a roof rack. These can change how the vehicle works for a particular trip, but they are separate accessories; confirm compatibility with the Duster version and Sleep Pack variant you intend to buy. How to judge whether it suits your trip
The Duster Sleep Pack is most relevant if you want a removable sleeping setup in a compact SUV, rather than a dedicated camper with a permanent interior. Before committing, compare the exact vehicle and kit against your needs:
- Sleeping space: decide whether a 190 × 130 cm bed base works for the number and size of the people who will use it.
- Driving conditions: verify the drivetrain and available off-road equipment on the exact trim; the “4×4” label alone does not establish low-range gearing or locking differentials.
- Setup and storage: check how the selected Sleep Pack fits and where its parts and your luggage go in that vehicle.
- Total local cost: confirm the current price of the vehicle and compatible accessories in your country.
- Camping expectations: decide whether a bed, storage and tray table are enough, or whether you need the facilities and space of a full camper.
New Atlas’s “best” framing is an editorial judgment, not a market-wide ranking supported by a comparative test. The available specifications establish what Dacia says this accessory offers; they do not establish that it is objectively the cheapest or best off-road factory camper.
