What happened at the Irish launch?
CompleteCar.ie reported on 5 October 2026 that the Raval was in Ireland and that its journalist had driven the Endurance variant. The publication said it had previously driven a prototype in November 2025 and a VZ at an international launch in Spain in May 2026; the Irish drive was its first in the more affordable Endurance. The word “excellent” in that report’s headline is editorial framing, not a quantified or independently established rating. The reported Irish drive is specifically of the Endurance, so it should not be read as a first-hand assessment of every version.
Which Raval versions and prices are listed in Ireland?
CUPRA Ireland’s live page, accessed 7 October 2026, lists the following prices with the Electric Car Grant applied. These are displayed Irish prices, not a guarantee of eligibility or a final quote; check the current offer and vehicle availability with CUPRA or a retailer.

These version-specific figures come from CUPRA Ireland’s Raval page. The same page says Urban V1 and Urban V2 are not currently available for sale and are pending homologation, while also displaying Urban V2 pricing and equipment. That means the listed Urban V2 price should not be treated as confirmation that the version can currently be ordered. Check the live page or a retailer for updated status.
How should you interpret the range figures?
The figures above are CUPRA’s stated WLTP ranges, not promises of the distance a particular driver will cover. CUPRA says its technical data are indicative and that actual range varies with route, weather, vehicle load, battery age and condition, optional equipment, heating or air-conditioning use and driving style. Compare versions using the same published test basis, then consider your own journeys and charging access rather than assuming the maximum will be achievable in everyday conditions.
CUPRA Ireland’s page also gives general Raval maxima of up to 226 hp, up to 446 km range, 105 kW charging and a 24-minute charging figure. Those are model-level maximums; they are not a replacement for the version-specific figures in the table, which differ by trim. The page does not establish a charging duration for every battery or charging scenario.
What does it offer for everyday use?
CUPRA lists the Raval at 4,046 mm long, 1,784 mm wide and 1,514 mm high, with five seats and a 441 L boot. Its Irish page also describes Travel Assist 3.0, Predictive ACC, Front Traffic Alert, Emergency Assist, Matrix LED lighting and remote functions through the My CUPRA app. Equipment can vary by version, so confirm the specification of the particular car you are considering.
The page mentions transport accessories and towing capacity of up to 1,200 kg, but does not establish which accessories are compatible with each version or the conditions attached to that maximum. Ask CUPRA or the retailer to confirm suitability for the intended load and vehicle configuration.

Earlier announcements used different dates and price bases. CUPRA’s international release on 9 April 2026 described the Raval as based on MEB+, designed, developed and produced in Barcelona, and gave an approximate €26,000 entry price with an expected summer 2026 market launch. That was an international estimate, not the current Irish incentive-adjusted starting price. CUPRA’s international press release and 4 May launch-edition material also described international editions and specifications that should not be substituted for CUPRA Ireland’s current retail listings.
On 15 June 2026, BeepBeep.ie reported that CUPRA Ireland expected the car to arrive from late August, at €23,495 including applicable government EV incentives. That timing was superseded by the October report of the Irish media launch. BeepBeep.ie also quoted CUPRA Ireland Brand Director Marcelino Villalobos describing the Raval as combining brand character with a more accessible entry price; that is the company’s promotional view, not an independent driving assessment. Read the June announcement.
What is known about expected Irish sales?
CompleteCar.ie reported that CUPRA Ireland said initial orders were brisk and that it potentially expected 1,000 Ravals to reach customers the following year. The figure is a company expectation relayed by the publication, not sales already achieved or an independent forecast.

What to check before choosing a version
- Confirm that the exact trim is homologated, available to order and eligible for the displayed grant-adjusted price.
- Compare the version’s battery, power, stated WLTP range and included equipment—not just the model’s overall maximum figures.
- Ask for a current written quote. CUPRA’s page separately advertises a finance example and says offers apply to new retail sales ordered from 1 September through 31 October 2026, subject to availability and possible withdrawal.
- Match the car’s charging capability and real-world journey needs to your regular routes and charging access; the published WLTP maximum is not a real-world guarantee.
- Get written confirmation of towing and accessory compatibility if you plan to use either.
