If you own one or are considering a used machine, start with its complete model and serial numbers: Cub Cadet’s records show distinct SX3100 models and direct owners to use the model number to identify correct replacement parts. The manufacturer lists the SX3100 parts list as Form 769-05939.
What is the Cub Cadet SX3100?
TractorData describes the SX3100 as a compact utility tractor built by Yanmar and distributed by Cub Cadet for model years 2010–2011. It lists TD (mower deck), TL (front loader), TLD (loader and deck), and TLB (loader backhoe) variants. These variant names are from a secondary reference; Cub Cadet’s retrieved records independently illustrate two distinct model-number configurations rather than confirming that entire variant list.
For example, Cub Cadet identifies model 54ALB4SZ727 as an SX3100 hydraulic ind-deck tractor and model 54ALB4SX727 as an SX3100 industrial-loader deck tractor. The full identification matters when choosing parts diagrams or assessing what equipment is fitted. Cub Cadet’s record for model 54ALB4SZ727 and its record for model 54ALB4SX727 both list the SX3100 parts list, Form 769-05939.

Where to find SX3100 manuals and parts diagrams
Use the full model number for parts
Find the tractor’s identification information and enter its model number in Cub Cadet’s Replacement Parts & Service page. Cub Cadet says the model number is essential to finding correct genuine replacement-part numbers; its parts tools include diagrams, manuals, and service-center information. Do not select a diagram simply because it says SX3100 if the model number differs.

Find an operator’s manual
On Cub Cadet’s Operator’s Manuals page, search by model number; the manufacturer says a serial number returns an exact match and that operator manuals are free to access. Use the operator manual for safety, operating, and maintenance instructions. Cub Cadet describes the operator’s manual as an important part of the equipment that helps owners assemble, prepare, maintain, and safely operate the machine.
Check the parts-list manual identifier
The official SX3100 model records identify “MAN:PARTS LIST:SX3100:CCY,” Form Number 769-05939. ManualsLib catalogs an SX3100 parts-list scan as 193 pages, bearing a 2010 Cub Cadet Yanmar LLC copyright, with sections for the engine, hydraulic pump, lubrication, cooling, and fuel systems. That catalog can help locate a reference copy, but use the Cub Cadet record and your machine’s complete model identification to confirm relevance. ManualsLib’s SX3100 parts-list catalog page describes the scan.

What to verify before buying a used SX3100
Because the SX3100 name covers multiple equipment configurations, compare the actual tractor and its records rather than assuming a standard package. Ask to see the identification label and documentation, then check:
- Configuration: Confirm whether the tractor has a mower deck, loader, both, or a loader/backhoe arrangement, and match the equipment to the tractor’s model and serial information.
- Operation: Check that the hydrostatic controls and ranges operate as expected, and verify PTO controls and fitted implements using the machine’s manual.
- Maintenance history and condition: Review available service records and inspect the tractor and attachments. The sources cited here do not establish an SX3100 reliability ranking or used-market value.
- Documentation and parts path: Confirm that model-matched manuals and parts diagrams can be found through Cub Cadet’s lookup before relying on a seller’s generic description.
The available references do not establish a complete official specification sheet, serial-range attachment compatibility chart, current parts inventory, or detailed official maintenance schedule. Do not infer implement fitment, fluid requirements, capacities, or service intervals from the SX3100 name or from a different Yanmar or Cub Cadet model; confirm them in documentation matched to the tractor.
