Honda’s current model-year 2026 listing puts the Trail125 at $4,199 MSRP before a $300 destination charge and other costs. The two bikes share a small-displacement engine and semi-automatic transmission, but their reported brakes, weight and ground clearance differ.
What is the CSC Wolf 125?
The Wolf 125 is a small-displacement CSC motorcycle that was the subject of a U.S. launch announcement in 2024. New Atlas reported the announcement on August 1, 2024, and ADV Pulse covered the planned U.S. launch on July 29, 2024. Both described it as an alternative to Honda’s Trail125. Those reports establish a launch-era proposition, not current inventory or sales status.
According to the 2024 coverage, the Wolf uses a 119.6cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine with a four-speed semi-automatic transmission. Reported equipment also includes electric and kick starters, a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. These are launch specifications reported by New Atlas and ADV Pulse, not results from an independent road test.

Does the Wolf 125 really undercut the Trail125?
At launch, 2024 coverage reported a Wolf starting price of $1,995. Honda’s model-year 2026 listing gives the Trail125 a base MSRP of $4,199, plus a $300 destination charge. That makes the Wolf’s reported launch price much lower than Honda’s current listed base MSRP, but it is not a valid comparison of current purchase offers: the figures are from different years, and current Wolf pricing has not been established.
Honda displays $4,499 as the Trail125’s total MSRP after destination, before taxes, registration, dealer-installed options, setup fees and any dealer variation. Check the current CSC listing and local dealer terms before treating the Wolf’s old launch figure as a buying option.

What did the 2024 Wolf launch coverage claim?
New Atlas reported CSC claims of 8.72 horsepower, a 55 mph top speed and more than 125 mpg estimated fuel economy, alongside the $1,995 starting price and 225-pound weight. These are manufacturer claims as reported in 2024, not independent test results or current commercial terms. ADV Pulse also reported the 225-pound wet weight and 5.51-inch ground clearance.
New Atlas questioned a torque figure printed in CSC materials, so it is not included here. Neither cited article provides a ride test that would support conclusions about real-world acceleration, handling, reliability or whether the Wolf is a better motorcycle.
