What is new about the CLAAS JAGUAR 1000?
CLAAS introduced the JAGUAR 1000 series in August 2025 with four models: the 1080, 1090, 1100 and 1200. The company describes a transverse 24-litre MAN V12 engine and a crop-flow system designed around a wider feed and chopping path.
CLAAS attributes even crop feed to four pre-compression rollers and fully hydraulic pre-compression. It says the rollers feed the V-FLEX drum uniformly; the drum’s knives can be configured for different cutting lengths. These details explain the design, but do not by themselves establish a measured field-performance advantage.
How wide is the JAGUAR 1000 crop flow?
CLAAS states that the JAGUAR 1000 crop flow is 20% wider than the JAGUAR 900’s, and describes it as the widest on the market. The manufacturer’s specifications describe the components and intended operation, not independent test results for chop quality or capacity.

A useful comparison should also cover crop and header fit, required chop length and processing, transport dimensions, service access and local dealer support. For throughput claims, distinguish manufacturer capacity statements from independently measured results; the available official specifications do not provide a full independent comparison with rival harvesters.
