That makes it reminiscent of the Sinclair C5, but “spiritual successor” is an analogy—not evidence of a formal connection. The available report does not establish that the speed was independently tested or that the Vigoz is currently available to buy.
What is the Cixi Vigoz?
French firm Cixi’s Vigoz is presented as a three-wheeled electric vehicle with a fully enclosed cabin. T3’s September 23, 2025 report describes two wheels at the front and one at the rear, a protective chassis, a heated interior and a passenger seat with seat belts. These are features reported by T3, not independently verified specifications.
The comparison with the Sinclair C5 rests on the vehicles’ broad format: both are electric tricycles with pedal input. The T3 article does not establish a formal design lineage or a direct relationship between Cixi and the Sinclair C5.
How does its pedal-operated drive work?
T3 describes the Vigoz’s PERS, or pedalling energy recovery system, as a chainless drive system. In that account, pedal input controls how much battery power is sent to the drivetrain: pedalling faster increases speed, easing off slows the vehicle, and stopping pedalling brings it to a stop. The report also says onboard systems let the driver select the effort needed to reach different speeds. These operating details come from secondary-source reporting; verified primary technical documentation is not established here.

Can the Vigoz really reach 75 mph?
T3 reported a top speed of “up to 75 mph” in its September 23, 2025 article. That is a reported claim, not an independently tested result or a performance figure verified here against manufacturer specifications. The same report’s framing—“Want to cycle on a motorway at legal speeds?”—is a hook, not evidence that the Vigoz is legal on motorways.
Is the Vigoz on sale, and is it road legal?
T3 said when it published its report that Cixi had not announced a full launch timeframe or price, and that a pre-registration phase was planned but had no announced date. The information available here does not establish whether the Vigoz can now be ordered, what it costs, when deliveries might begin, or how it is classified under road rules in any particular market. Do not assume it is currently available or motorway-legal.
