Which electric truck has the lowest listed starting price?
Chevrolet lists the 2026 Silverado EV Custom at $55,895 starting MSRP on its Silverado EV model page. That is lower than the $62,400 starting price on GMC’s 2026 Sierra EV model page. These are manufacturer-listed prices, not dealer quotes or guaranteed transaction prices.
The comparison is limited to these two current official model pages. It does not prove a market-wide ranking: current official prices and sale status were not established for every competing electric pickup, including the Rivian R1T, Tesla Cybertruck, and Ford F-150 Lightning.

Why the sticker price is only the first comparison
Get a local, written price
MSRP does not tell you what a truck will cost at a particular dealer. Inventory, delivery charges, options, taxes, title, licensing, and local fees affect the final amount. Check local stock and request a written out-the-door quote for the exact trim and configuration before comparing offers.
Compare range by trim, and check the estimate type
Chevrolet advertises up to 478 miles of GM-estimated range for selected 2026 Silverado EV configurations. GMC lists the Sierra EV Standard Range Elevation and Denali at up to 283 miles, EPA-estimated; Extended Range versions at up to 410 miles, also EPA-estimated; and selected AT4 and Denali Max Range versions at up to 478 miles, GM-estimated. Match towing and payload to your actual setup
Chevrolet advertises up to 12,500 pounds of available towing for the Silverado EV; GMC lists maximum available towing of 12,500 pounds for the Sierra EV. Both figures depend on configuration and do not establish the rating of every trim. Account for home charging and installation
Chevrolet says home Level 2 charging can add a GM-estimated 24–41 miles of range per hour for the Silverado EV, depending on setup, and says professional installation is required. Your charging equipment, home electrical capacity, and installation needs affect whether home charging is practical and what it costs. Confirm connector and vehicle compatibility, have electrical capacity assessed, and plan for professional installation; the quoted charging rate is not a universal result for every setup. Chevrolet

Consider truck-specific utility
For work or recreation, capability beyond range can matter. Chevrolet says a properly equipped Silverado EV can provide up to 10.2 kW of offboard power through as many as 11 outlets. GMC describes an available Sierra EV MultiPro Midgate configuration that offers up to 10 feet 10 inches of cargo length when the load stop is fitted, rear seats are folded, and removable back glass is used. - Set your real budget: compare written out-the-door quotes for the exact trim and equipment, not starting MSRPs alone.
- Choose the required range and capability: check the range estimate type and the specific configuration’s towing and payload ratings against your use.
- Check charging at home: confirm that Level 2 equipment and professional installation fit your home and electrical capacity.
- Value the truck features you will use: compare available offboard power, outlets, and cargo-bed flexibility on the actual builds in stock.
- Verify incentives independently: do not count an expired federal credit toward a new purchase; check any current state or local program and your eligibility.
