Hyundai has not confirmed that it is clearing Tucson stock. Its UK website currently lists the Tucson from £30,985 and advertises a limited finance promotion on a specified N-Line Edition: 2.9% representative APR with a £2,750 deposit contribution for qualifying private buyers ordering between 1 October 2026 and 4 January 2027, subject to status, terms, availability and stocks lasting.
Hyundai unveiled an all-new Tucson on 1 October 2026 and says global rollout is planned from 2027. However, Hyundai has not published a UK price or UK sales date for the replacement, so the current promotion is an opportunity to negotiate—not proof that every dealer is discounting old stock.

What is the current Hyundai Tucson deal?
The live Hyundai UK offer shows a Tucson starting price of £30,985. The featured promotion applies to a named Tucson N-Line Edition 1.6T 160PS 6MT and provides:

The offer excludes Affinity customers. Hyundai Motor UK acts as a credit broker and introduces applicants to Hyundai Finance; it is not the lender. The £2,750 is a finance contribution, not an automatic £2,750 cash reduction from every Tucson’s advertised price.

What to request from the retailer
- The exact cash/on-the-road price, including every fee
- Customer deposit, Hyundai’s contribution and financed amount
- APR, contract length, mileage allowance and final balloon payment
- Total amount payable, not just the monthly payment
- The vehicle identification number or written confirmation of whether the car is current-generation stock
Ask at least two retailers for quotes using identical assumptions. A lower monthly payment can simply reflect a larger deposit, longer term or higher final payment.
Is Hyundai actually clearing out the old Tucson?
That conclusion is not established. Hyundai’s wording says the finance offer is available “while stocks last”; it does not say the company is running a stock-clearance campaign or that all remaining cars are being liquidated. Dealer inventory may vary considerably.

The sensible interpretation is that Hyundai is promoting the current model while a successor has been announced. Before signing, ask whether the quoted car is physically allocated, which generation it is, and when it can be registered.
How much did the earlier 2026 Tucson range cost?
Hyundai’s earlier UK range announcement listed the Element petrol manual from £30,935. That announcement also described finance deposit contributions of £1,750 for internal-combustion versions and £2,250 for hybrids at 4.9% APR.

What is changing with the all-new Tucson?
Hyundai unveiled the replacement in New York on 1 October 2026 and says global market rollout is planned from 2027. No UK order, delivery or pricing date has been announced in the available official releases.

European specification announced
For European markets, Hyundai gives dimensions of 4,560mm long, 1,900mm wide and 1,670mm high. That is 35mm longer, 35mm wider and 20mm taller than its predecessor. European production is planned in the Czech Republic, with petrol, hybrid and plug-in-hybrid powertrains in scope. Hyundai also says a more dynamically styled version will debut at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October 2026.
Global figures that are not UK confirmations
Hyundai’s global announcement describes a 4,700mm-long long-wheelbase model, a hybrid target of up to 42mpg, and a plug-in hybrid rated at 292PS with an estimated 81km electric range. These are manufacturer-reported targets or estimates, not independent test results or confirmed UK homologation figures.

The new model introduces Hyundai’s “Art of Steel” design, Pleos Connect with Gleo AI and Smart Terrain Assist. Hyundai Motor Europe says more than two million Tucsons have been sold in Europe since 2004 and describes the model as number one in Europe’s private C-SUV segment in 2025; the cited announcement does not explain the underlying measurement methodology.

Buy the current car when
- You need a vehicle before the successor’s UK timing is known.
- The retailer has the exact trim and powertrain you want physically available.
- The written quote’s total amount payable is competitive against a cash purchase and alternative finance.
- You are satisfied with the current Tucson’s equipment, warranty and running costs.
Wait when
- You can delay your purchase until UK specification and pricing are published.
- You specifically want the new design, connectivity or hybrid system.
- You would regret buying immediately before a confirmed replacement launch.
- The dealer cannot confirm allocation, generation or delivery timing in writing.
Waiting does not guarantee a lower price. Hyundai has not yet provided the UK successor’s price, finance rates or delivery schedule, so no reliable cost comparison is possible.
Questions to ask before accepting a Tucson offer
- Is this the current generation, and what is the vehicle’s build date?
- Is it already in UK or dealer stock, or is it a factory order?
- What is the complete cash price and total amount payable on finance?
- How much of the deposit is Hyundai’s contribution?
- What are the term, mileage limit and optional final payment?
- Can you provide the quote and vehicle specification in writing?
- What warranty, servicing and insurance costs apply to this exact version?
Bottom line for Tucson shoppers
The current £30,985 starting price and 2.9% APR/£2,750 contribution could make an existing Tucson attractive, but they do not prove a nationwide clearance sale. The all-new Tucson is planned globally from 2027, while UK price and availability remain unconfirmed. Buy only after comparing written cash and finance quotes for the same specification and confirming exactly which generation you are getting.
