CFMOTO’s 1000cc superbike is real, but it is still a prototype. The V4 SR-RR was shown at EICMA in November 2025 with a 997cc V4; CFMOTO claims more than 157kW (over 210 hp) at the crank and a curb weight below 200kg. In June 2026, the company reported a prototype top-speed run of 315.82km/h. Those figures describe a developing machine, not confirmed production specifications.
What is the CFMOTO V4 SR-RR?
The V4 SR-RR is CFMOTO’s prototype litre-class supersport. The company presented it at EICMA in November 2025 and called it the peak of its SR family. Its official English name is “V4 SR-RR.” CFMOTO later described the prototype’s appearance at CFMOTO Day in Chengdu, March 27–28, 2026, as its domestic dynamic debut.
The motorcycle is more than a styling concept: CFMOTO has published engine, output and weight claims, and later reported a high-speed test. But those milestones do not establish that a retail version is ready or that its final configuration will match the prototype.
What specifications has CFMOTO announced?

These are manufacturer-published figures for the prototype, not independently verified comparison-test results. In particular, the power claim is at the crankshaft, so it should not be compared directly with a competitor’s rear-wheel dynamometer figure.

What does the 315.82km/h run tell us?
CFMOTO says the V4 SR-RR reached 315.82km/h at the Shangrao Automotive Proving Ground on June 15, 2026. The company said the run took place with oversight from the National Motorcycle Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Chongqing) and the Hangzhou National Notary Public Office. It is a company-reported prototype test result, not evidence that a production model has that top speed or an independently established production-bike record.
How far along is the bike?
CFMOTO’s public milestones show continued development, but do not settle when customers will be able to buy the motorcycle:

- July 22, 2026: InMoto reported aerodynamic wind-tunnel testing at Pininfarina. That is secondary reporting, not a CFMOTO production specification.
CFMOTO Slovenia has described an upcoming production-intended 1000cc supersport, which indicates production intent in that regional communication, not a confirmed release date or worldwide sales plan. The official material reviewed does not establish final production specifications, a retail launch date or the markets where the bike will be sold.

Not responsibly from the figures available here. The V4 SR-RR’s published numbers are prototype claims, while a production rival’s specifications may refer to a finalized road model and use different weight or power measurements. A meaningful comparison would need like-for-like engine data, measurement methods and test conditions. The available information does not support a model-by-model performance ranking.
