CFMOTO presents the 150 AURA as an urban scooter pairing vintage-inspired styling with contemporary features. The Mexico model page highlights its round LED headlight and retro appearance, describing it as a scooter for daily trips. That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent road-test assessment. CFMOTO México’s 150 AURA listing also cautions that specifications may vary by region.
Engine and performance figures
The figures differ in how they are presented across regional listings. CFMOTO China’s current model listing, which does not state a publication year, specifies a 149.5 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-valve engine with a CVT transmission. CFMOTO México’s 2026 listing gives 149.5 cc, 15.8 hp and 14.3 Nm, without stating the rpm associated with those output figures. It also lists fuel economy of 27 km/L. Technology and safety equipment vary by market
CFMOTO China’s listing names a 6.2-inch TFT display, keyless functions, tire-pressure monitoring (TPMS), heated grips, front and rear cameras, MOTOPLAY navigation, ABS and traction control. The Mexico listing describes TFT connectivity, NFC keyless start, dual-channel ABS, and front and rear cameras. These pages do not establish that every feature is included on every regional version, so confirm the equipment on the specific scooter being offered.
For a local purchase, ask the dealer to confirm the included safety systems and connected functions in writing, including whether navigation or camera features require a phone, app, or separate setup. The regional listings identify features, but do not provide enough information to establish identical configurations or operating requirements across countries.

Dimensions and everyday practicality
CFMOTO China lists a 132 kg curb weight and a 770 mm seat height. It also describes under-seat storage for two helmets. Helmet shapes and shell sizes differ, so the capacity claim does not guarantee that any particular pair will fit; test your helmets in the compartment before relying on it.

What to check before buying
- Ask a local CFMOTO dealer about stock, final on-road price, warranty coverage and servicing.
- Confirm which version and features are included in your market; do not assume that another country’s listing matches it.
- Check the scooter’s weight and seat height in person if those affect your comfort or confidence at low speeds.
- Bring your own helmets to check under-seat fit rather than relying on the two-helmet description alone.
- Ask how the quoted fuel-economy figure was derived and consider it a manufacturer claim, not a promise of your consumption.
