There is no reliable, independently verified list of 40 luxury cars that celebrities currently own. Celebrity-car roundups often mix reported collections, old ownership and sightings. The examples below are therefore a guide to cars reported in connection with celebrities—not a definitive ranking or confirmation of present-day ownership. Each car’s appeal may come from comfort, performance, rarity, bespoke specification or provenance; those qualities do not make the cars directly comparable.
What “owned by celebrities” means in this list
A car appearing in a celebrity collection article is not proof that the person owns it now. A source may report an interview, repeat an earlier claim, describe a former car or show a sighting. This distinction matters especially for expensive or collectible vehicles, whose ownership and value can change over time.

The available reporting supports examples and names, but it does not establish 40 currently verified ownership claims. To avoid presenting a longer list as fact, the entries below are grouped by what the cited reporting actually supports. The Financial Express roundup, published April 16, 2026, names cars associated with nine Bollywood celebrities but says it did not independently verify current ownership or vehicle valuations. The Indian Express report of April 19, 2025, attributes details about cars shared by Dr Shriram Nene and Madhuri Dixit to Nene. Work & Money’s December 19, 2024, collection roundup is secondary and includes at least one explicitly former car.
Cars attributed to Dr Shriram Nene and Madhuri Dixit
In an interview covered by The Indian Express on April 19, 2025, Dr Shriram Nene described cars he and Madhuri Dixit share. The report names a Porsche 911 Turbo S, Porsche 911 GT3, a McLaren and a Ferrari, and says their recent Ferrari purchase was a 296 GTS. This is a dated, attributed account—not independent confirmation of vehicle records or current possession.
#1 Best Overall
- Porsche 911 Turbo S: Named in Nene’s account of the couple’s cars. The report does not specify a model year.
- Porsche 911 GT3: Also named in the account; no model year is given in the report.
- McLaren: Nene mentioned a McLaren, but the report does not identify its model or year.
- Ferrari 296 GTS: The Indian Express described it as a recent purchase in 2025 and cited an approximate price of Rs 6 crore at that time. That is a reported historical amount, not a current valuation.
- Ferrari: The report mentions a Ferrari alongside the specific 296 GTS. It does not establish whether this refers to a separate Ferrari, so it should not be counted as another distinct car.
Nene explained his interest this way: “I don’t buy them in vanity, I buy it because I like these things.” The comment offers context for the collection, but it does not establish ownership beyond the interview’s date.
Bollywood cars listed in a 2026 roundup
The Financial Express published a celebrity-car roundup on April 16, 2026, listing cars associated with Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan. Its disclaimer says it did not independently verify current ownership or specific valuations. Because the available reporting does not establish a verified, model-by-model inventory for these people, this article does not turn the roundup into 36 additional ownership claims.

The names are useful starting points for readers interested in reported Bollywood collections, not proof that every car attributed to these actors remains in their possession. The roundup’s estimated collection totals and model prices should likewise be read as unverified estimates, not established market values.
A former car illustrates why provenance matters
Work & Money’s December 19, 2024, secondary collection roundup includes Rowan Atkinson’s former McLaren F1. The past-tense ownership is important: a famous car’s history can add collector interest even after it has been sold. The article is a lead to a reported collection, not a reliable current inventory.

How to judge luxury in celebrity-car lists
“Most luxurious” can mean different things, and there is no sound single ranking when the evidence mixes present-day reports, former ownership, different markets and unlike vehicle types. Consider the basis for each claim instead:
- Ownership and date: Is the car attributed directly to the celebrity, reported by a secondary roundup, identified as former property or merely seen in public?
- Rarity and provenance: A limited-production car or one with a documented ownership history may attract collector interest. That is different from cabin comfort.
- Specification and comfort: Bespoke finishes, materials, space and comfort features can make a car luxurious even if it is not especially rare.
- Performance: A high-performance sports car may be notable for engineering and speed rather than the comfort associated with a luxury saloon.
- Price basis: Any price needs a currency, market, date and valuation method. A reported purchase price is not automatically a current market value, and estimates from different sources cannot support a fair “most expensive” ranking.
Hagerty UK’s 2024 Power List is described in search results as tracking sale prices for cars once owned by famous people and comparing them with standard equivalents. That description points to a useful way to assess provenance premiums, but it does not establish individual values for the cars named here.
