Its rally-themed design pairs with solar charging, radio time calibration, Bluetooth, a four-measurement sensor package and an app-configured directional indicator. Casio describes it as inspired by rally competition; the product information does not establish that the watch was used or tested during the race.
What is the GWG-B1000TLC-1A?
It is a special-edition MUDMASTER made by Casio G-SHOCK in collaboration with Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body (TLC). Casio frames the design around the Dakar Rally’s demanding night legs, translating rally navigation and a moonlit desert into the watch’s colors and finishes.
How the Dakar-inspired design comes through
Navigation-display colors
Red, blue and yellow dial accents are inspired by information colors on the rally vehicle’s navigation display, according to Casio. The accents give the analog-digital face a motorsport reference without implying that the watch itself provides rally route guidance.
Moonlit desert details
The printed band pattern evokes sand dunes. Casio says the gold-toned band loop represents the moon; collaboration logos and an engraved case back add the team identity. The watch also comes in dedicated packaging made with recycled materials.

What functions does it have?
Timekeeping and connectivity
- Solar-powered timekeeping: the watch is designed to recharge from light.
- Radio time calibration: it can receive time-calibration signals where the service is available.
- Bluetooth: it connects with a companion app for supported functions, including setting a location for the Location Indicator.
Triple sensor and Location Indicator
The triple sensor measures direction, altitude, barometric pressure and temperature. The Location Indicator is a separate, app-linked feature: set a destination in the companion app and an indicator hand points toward that selected point. Casio’s description supports a directional indication, not turn-by-turn instructions, route planning or a replacement for dedicated navigation equipment.
Construction, dimensions and water resistance
Casio specifies a carbon fiber-reinforced resin case with metal exterior components, along with shock, dust, mud and vibration resistance. The international product page lists sapphire crystal and double LED illumination.

Casio UK lists the case at 58.7 × 52.1 × 16.2 mm, with a weight of 114 g and water resistance of 200 metres. Those figures are regional product specifications, not independent test results. The dimensions and weight are useful context for anyone considering a large, feature-rich watch.
