A collision on Ranford Road in Canning Vale late on 28 July 2022 left two occupants of a Honda Accord seriously injured, according to a PerthNow report published the following day. The article said the Honda rolled and police were investigating; it did not establish what caused the crash.
What happened on Ranford Road
In a report by Brianna Dugan published on 29 July 2022, PerthNow said a black Holden Commodore and a red Honda Accord collided at about 11pm on Thursday, 28 July, on Ranford Road near Livingstone Drive in Canning Vale, in Perth’s south-east. The report described major damage to both vehicles and said the Honda rolled. Read the PerthNow report.
Injuries reported at the time
PerthNow reported that the Honda’s 22-year-old male driver and 25-year-old female passenger were seriously injured and taken to Royal Perth Hospital. They were described as being in stable condition at the time the article was published. A 24-year-old male passenger in the Honda was reported uninjured. The Holden’s 22-year-old male driver was reported to have non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to hospital.

What is known about the investigation
The article said police were investigating the circumstances of the collision. It did not identify a cause or assign fault to either driver. The reporting available here does not establish a later police finding, charge, court outcome, or health update, so none should be inferred.
