What the HBL Alto offer reportedly included
ProPakistani’s September 19, 2025 report described an arrangement in which an Alto owner could trade in an existing vehicle and finance the remaining balance through HBL. It reported a 9.99% markup rate and a monthly installment starting at Rs. 18,999, using an assumed old-vehicle valuation of Rs. 2.1 million.
The Rs. 18,999 figure was a starting example tied to the trade-in value, not a universal quote for every Alto owner. The report did not provide a complete repayment schedule, and it does not establish the campaign’s current availability or current financing terms.
How Suzuki’s general exchange process works
Separately from the reported HBL campaign, Pak Suzuki describes a general exchange program through authorized 3S dealerships. A dealer evaluates the vehicle’s condition; the customer and dealer agree on a buying price, and the customer pays the difference toward the retail price of a new Suzuki. Pak Suzuki says a vehicle of any brand may be considered, subject to agreement on its assessed value.
