The Campravan Raptor XC is a teardrop-style camper that expands at camp: a rear slide-out adds a separate bedroom, taking its reported body length from 15.7 feet on the road to 22.6 feet when extended. New Atlas described the design in December 2021; the figures and equipment below reflect that report, not a current manufacturer specification sheet.
How the Raptor XC expands
The rear section slides out when the camper is parked, creating a bedroom separated from the main cabin by a doorway. The New Atlas report puts the body at 15.7 feet (4.8 meters) before expansion and 22.6 feet (6.9 meters) in its expanded configuration. That distinction matters when comparing campsite space with the trailer’s travel footprint.
The bedroom is described with a double bed, overhead shelves, two skylights and long side windows. New Atlas characterizes it as an insulated indoor space, so occupants can sleep there while using the kitchen, lounge or bathroom without going outside. That is the article’s description; it does not establish performance in particular temperatures or weather.
What is inside the cabin
Kitchen and dining area
The main cabin combines a kitchenette with an L-shaped dining lounge. The reported kitchen equipment includes a two-burner gas stove, a sink beneath a glass lid, a 75-liter refrigerator and an L-shaped stainless-steel counter. The lounge table lowers to form a single berth measuring 35 by 75 inches (90 by 190 centimeters), according to the 2021 report.

Wet bathroom
The reported layout also includes a wet bathroom, bringing sleeping, cooking, dining and bathroom functions inside the expanded camper. New Atlas does not provide further bathroom specifications in its article.
Slide-out operation and construction
New Atlas says the extension is manually operated as standard, with a remote-controlled motor system available as an option. The report describes aluminum interior and exterior walls around XPS insulation, along with independent suspension and all-terrain tires. It does not provide suspension travel, tire size, towing limits or a detailed operating procedure.

What to compare with other compact campers
The Raptor XC’s defining trade-off is a shorter reported travel body that becomes a substantially longer cabin at camp. To assess whether that arrangement suits a trip, compare the travel and expanded dimensions, sleeping layout, indoor cooking and bathroom facilities, slide-out operation, and the towing setup specified for each model. The available descriptions are not a standardized head-to-head test, so they do not establish which camper is better in use.

The New Atlas coverage dates to December 14, 2021. It does not establish the Raptor XC’s current price, inventory, dealer network or current specifications. Check with Hunter Nature Caravan or an authorized seller for present-day purchase information and confirm the specification of any trailer being offered.
