Who is Cameron McAdoo riding for in 2027?
McAdoo will ride for Quad Lock Honda in the team’s 2027 AMA Supercross program, the team confirmed on October 2, 2026. The announcement places him in the team’s 250-class effort, but does not provide a race-by-race lineup or a complete season schedule. When will McAdoo first race for Honda?
Quad Lock Honda says McAdoo’s first appearance will be with Factory Honda Australia at the 2026 Australian Supercross season opener in Townsville. That is a separate appearance ahead of his 2027 AMA Supercross campaign; the announcement does not lay out his full Australian or U.S. race schedule. Racer X’s contemporaneous report also notes uncertainty around World Supercross scheduling, so no complete World Supercross program is confirmed here.

Why did McAdoo leave Pro Circuit Kawasaki?
The signing follows seven seasons with Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki, according to Motocross.com’s signing report. The public announcement explains Quad Lock Honda’s ambitions, not private contract negotiations or McAdoo’s personal reasons for leaving.

Team owner Yarrive Konsky said: “American Honda wants to see a stronger 250 presence and wants us competing with genuine championship contenders.” The team has said it is building its 250-class effort with increased American Honda support and has described winning the 250SX Championship as its longer-term aim. Quad Lock Honda had already named a return to the 250 class as a championship-contender objective for 2027 in its 2026 season announcement.
Konsky said the team pursued McAdoo because it sees him as a race winner and proven front-running competitor. That is the team’s stated rationale, rather than confirmation of the terms or motivations behind the move.

What is McAdoo’s racing record?
Quad Lock Honda’s signing announcement says McAdoo turned professional in 2017 and records three AMA Supercross 250SX main-event victories and 23 career podium finishes. Those are figures reported by the team. Motocross.com’s report gives a different total, describing 25 podiums during his Pro Circuit years; the figures refer to differently attributed totals and should not be combined.

What is confirmed—and what is still unknown?
- Confirmed: McAdoo has signed for Quad Lock Honda’s 2027 AMA Supercross campaign, and the team says he will first appear at the 2026 Australian Supercross opener in Townsville with Factory Honda Australia.
- Not announced: A full 2027 race schedule, a confirmed motocross campaign, and a race-by-race team lineup.
- Not specified: A retail Honda motorcycle model or technical specifications for the bike McAdoo will ride.

A September 28, 2026 Cycle News preview said the U.S. move had not yet been formally acknowledged. Quad Lock Honda’s October 2 announcement subsequently confirmed the signing.
