For a C8 Corvette, follow the owner’s manual for your exact model year, trim and powertrain. The intervals below are from the 2021 Corvette Owner’s Manual, so treat them as a practical example—not a verified schedule for every C8. Chevrolet recommends regular service visits every 7,500 miles in that manual; oil changes also follow the Oil Life System, with a once-a-year minimum. Track use has separate, shorter fluid-service intervals.
To confirm the schedule for your car, use Chevrolet’s manuals page to find the manual by year, make and model. Chevrolet’s maintenance support page likewise directs owners to the Owner’s Manual for vehicle-specific service.
At-a-glance: the 2021 manual’s schedule

These are manufacturer intervals from Chevrolet’s 2021 manual, not an all-years C8 chart. Dusty conditions can call for more frequent engine air-filter inspection, and severe driving conditions can change service needs.
Oil changes: use the monitor and the calendar
The 2021 manual says to change the oil and filter within 600 miles of the “CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON” message. It also sets a time limit: Chevrolet states, “The engine oil and filter must be changed at least once a year and the oil life system must be reset.” That rule matters if the car is driven too little for the monitor to trigger during the year.

Use the oil specification in the manual for your exact year and trim rather than assuming one grade fits every C8. Chevrolet Parts lists GM Genuine Parts oil part 19433208 as 5W-50 and lists Corvette fitment for model years 2023–2027 and several trims; that listing does not establish it as the correct oil for every Corvette. Check your own manual or confirm with a Chevrolet dealer.
What the recurring 7,500-mile visit covers
In the 2021 schedule, the 7,500-mile rhythm combines routine inspections with tire rotation and other required service. The manual lists checks of oil level and oil-life percentage, engine air-filter life, coolant and washer-fluid levels, tire inflation and wear, fluid leaks, and the brake system. It recommends regular service visits every 7,500 miles.

Do not confuse this mileage interval with the separate calendar-based replacements. A car that accumulates few miles still has items with time limits, including brake fluid, coolant and cabin air filter.
Time-based items in the 2021 schedule
- Every 12 months: replace wiper blades at least annually.
- Every two years: replace the passenger-compartment air filter.
- Every four years: replace the engine air filter; inspect it more often in dusty conditions.
- Every five years: drain and fill engine coolant; replace brake fluid; replace front-lift-system fluid if the car is equipped with front lift.
- Every seven years: replace the A/C desiccant.
- Every ten years: replace hatch/trunk support gas struts.
These are 2021-manual intervals. Confirm the corresponding time limits in the manual for your model year before scheduling work.

DCT fluid and filter service
The 2021 manual directs owners to follow the DCT fluid-life system and replace the transmission fluid and filter when “CHANGE TRANSMISSION FLUID SOON” appears, with a minimum interval of every three years. It separately specifies an initial canister-filter change at 7,500 miles and subsequent changes every 22,500 miles. The manual describes this work as complex and points owners to a dealer.
Severe use and track driving
The 2021 manual identifies heavy city driving in hot weather, hilly or mountainous terrain, and high-speed or competitive driving as severe conditions. A normal-use schedule should not be assumed suitable for aggressive or competitive driving. For track use, consult Chevrolet’s current model-specific guide as well as the owner’s manual.

Those are track-hour intervals, not street mileage intervals. The Academy guide also covers track preparation, including tires, aerodynamic covers and cooling; use the current guide for the specific car and event.

Chevrolet says new Corvette owners can receive one covered maintenance visit, including an oil change (Mobil 1 required) and multi-point inspection, if completed within the first 24 months of ownership. Confirm eligibility and current terms with Chevrolet or the dealer before relying on the offer.
For maintenance procedures Chevrolet identifies as complex, including DCT service, a dealer is the practical route. Chevrolet’s manuals page also notes that service manuals are available through GM Service Information.
