Bugatti’s June 2024 figures include a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 2.0 seconds, a top speed of up to 445 km/h with the Speed Key and more than 60 km of WLTP electric-only range. Its announced starting price was €3.8 million net; Bugatti later said all 250 planned production slots had been allocated.
Bugatti Tourbillon review: what is known so far
The Tourbillon replaces the Chiron-era quad-turbo W16 with a naturally aspirated V16 supported by three electric motors. That makes it a substantial change in powertrain and cabin concept, but the performance figures below are Bugatti’s published specifications, not independently measured results from a customer production car. The available independent Car and Driver report is launch coverage rather than an instrumented road test.
Bugatti’s stated concept pairs a high-revving combustion engine with hybrid assistance and a watchmaking-inspired analog instrument display. In its June 2024 launch announcement, CEO Mate Rimac described the project as combining a new V16 and battery-electric system with a Swiss-made watchmaker instrument cluster and other bespoke engineering. Bugatti’s launch announcement outlines the car’s intended direction.

Bugatti’s June 2024 Tourbillon technical sheet supplies the detailed performance, dimensions, battery and mass figures. The launch release gives the rounded battery capacity, electric range, combined output, planned production and starting price.
How the V16 hybrid powertrain works
The 8.3-liter V16 was developed with Cosworth and is naturally aspirated, rather than turbocharged. Bugatti rates the engine itself at 1,000 hp; the three electric motors bring the announced combined output to 1,800 hp. Two motors drive the front axle and one sits at the rear, with four-wheel drive and torque vectoring listed in Bugatti’s technical information.
The 800-volt system uses a battery listed as 24.8 kWh gross in the technical sheet and rounded to 25 kWh in the launch release. Bugatti claims more than 60 km (37 miles) of WLTP electric-only range. That is a manufacturer claim, not a range result independently verified here.

The Tourbillon’s instrument display is designed around physical watchmaking-style components rather than a conventional digital screen as the main driver display. In a February 2026 account, Bugatti said the hand-assembled Concepto cluster contains more than 650 components and uses traditional watchmaking finishes. Its steering wheel has a fixed hub, leaving the cluster visible as the rim turns.
Bugatti presents the display as part of the car’s identity, not simply a nostalgic styling detail. Its 2026 account of the Tourbillon’s instrument cluster describes the watchmaking approach.

Équipe Pur Sang: the track-focused configuration
Équipe Pur Sang is an optional configuration with track-oriented aerodynamic and trim changes. Bugatti lists a front splitter, rear wing, diffuser, eight-pipe exhaust and directional wheels measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. The company claims the package increases airflow to the rear radiator by up to 8%; that is a manufacturer figure, not an independent measurement. Bugatti has not stated a package price in the cited material.
The option is described in Bugatti’s Équipe Pur Sang announcement, which also illustrates how configuration affects the car’s appearance and aerodynamic hardware.
Bugatti Tourbillon price and availability
Bugatti announced a starting price of €3.8 million net in June 2024. “Net” matters: the cited announcement does not establish a tax-inclusive price, a current U.S. sticker price, or the final cost of a configured car in any particular market. Options, taxes and market-specific pricing are not stated in the sources here.

What remains unverified
Bugatti’s technical sheet was dated June 2024 and noted that the model was not then subject to the cited EU fuel-consumption labeling directive because type approval had not been granted at that time. That is a launch-stage statement, not confirmation of the car’s present approval status. The sources cited here do not establish final homologation, regulatory emissions data, independent production-car test results, reliability evidence or current resale prices.
