The BrightDrop Zevo 600 is now marketed in the U.S. as the Chevrolet BrightDrop 600. Chevrolet lists the 2025 van at a starting MSRP of $66,100, with up to 614.7 cubic feet of cargo volume and maximum available payload of 3,350 pounds. Range depends on model year, battery and drivetrain, so there is no single figure that applies to every 600. The available sources provide manufacturer specifications and features, not an independent road test.

What happened to the BrightDrop Zevo 600 name?

GM announced on August 29, 2024, that BrightDrop electric commercial vans would move under Chevrolet. Chevrolet’s current U.S. product page calls the 2025 vehicle the Chevrolet BrightDrop 600, though the older Zevo 600 name remains familiar and appears in search queries and some image labels. GM described the move as bringing the vans into Chevrolet’s lineup; its announcement does not establish a change to the vehicle’s underlying specifications. GM’s brand-transition announcement.

How much does the BrightDrop 600 cost?

Chevrolet lists a $66,100 starting MSRP for the 2025 BrightDrop 600 on its U.S. product page, accessed in 2026. That is $1,500 above the page’s $64,600 starting MSRP for the 2025 BrightDrop 400. The 600’s figure is not an out-the-door price: it excludes destination freight, taxes, title, license, dealer fees and optional equipment, and the dealer sets the final price. For a usable quote, check local inventory and ask a dealer to price the exact configuration and options.

Used listings and vehicle galleries may help with local shopping, but listings in one area do not establish a national transaction price. Cars.com’s available examples include localized Chicago-area listings, not a guaranteed current market value. Cars.com BrightDrop 600 listings and gallery.

BrightDrop 600 specs at a glance

Specification Published figure How to read it
Starting MSRP $66,100 Chevrolet’s 2025 U.S. starting MSRP, accessed in 2026; excludes listed fees, taxes and optional equipment.
Maximum cargo volume 614.7 cu. ft. Chevrolet figure for the 2025 600.
Maximum available payload 3,350 lb Chevrolet figure for the 2025 600; payload varies by configuration and installed equipment.
Maximum available GVWR 11,000 lb Chevrolet’s 2025 comparison listing for the 600.
2026 cargo dimensions 168.9 in long; 83.68 in wall-to-wall wide; 53.53 in between wheel housings; 82 in high GM/Chevrolet 2026 technical sheet; height is with the door closed. Dimensions exclude optional equipment and accessories.

The 3,350-pound payload is the 600’s maximum available figure, not a promise for every van. Chevrolet’s larger 3,710-pound figure applies to the 400, not the 600. Battery choice, drivetrain, weight class and upfits can reduce the usable payload. For the 2026 C7E 600, GM lists up to 3,350 pounds for front-wheel drive and 3,130 pounds for all-wheel drive with the Standard Range battery, and 2,430 pounds for AWD with the Max Range battery; equipped minimums can be lower. Check the door-jamb payload label on the specific vehicle and account for all installed equipment and cargo.

How far can the BrightDrop 600 go on a charge?

Range figures are not interchangeable: the cited estimates cover different model years, configurations and reporting contexts. Chevrolet’s 2025 product page gives GM estimates of 303 city miles and 234 highway miles for the 600 AWD with Max Range. GM Fleet’s 2025 feature sheet says up to 272 combined miles with the optional Max Range battery. Those are manufacturer estimates, not independently observed results.

For the 2026 model, GM/Chevrolet’s technical sheet lists GM-estimated combined ranges of up to 176 miles with Standard Range, 204 miles with Extended Range and 285 miles with Max Range. The technical document did not yet provide EPA estimates. Do not apply its 2026 figures automatically to a 2025 van. In any model year, actual range can vary with temperature, terrain, battery age, loading, use and maintenance.

Before choosing a battery, compare its range estimate with the route, daily mileage, payload and charging opportunities the van will actually have. A route that works on paper with an unloaded van may leave less margin when the vehicle is carrying equipment or operating in conditions that reduce range.

Battery, powertrain and charging

GM/Chevrolet’s 2026 technical sheet lists usable battery energy of 102.4 kWh for Standard Range, 121 kWh for Extended Range and 173.3 kWh for Max Range. These are 2026 specifications and should not be treated as confirmed capacities for a 2025 vehicle.

The same 2026 sheet lists a front-wheel-drive configuration with one motor, 233 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The AWD configuration has two motors, 300 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The sheet also describes Level 2 and DC charging capabilities and projected charge estimates. Charging time depends on the starting charge, battery condition, charger output, vehicle settings and outside temperature, so a published estimate is not a guaranteed stop time. Confirm the charging equipment and expected charge behavior for the exact model year and configuration before planning a workday around it.

How practical is the cargo area?

The 600’s central appeal is its large walk-in cargo space. Chevrolet highlights a step-through between cabin and cargo area, low step-in, rear garage-style door, exterior pocket doors, anti-slip floor, motion-activated cargo lighting, vehicle alarm and auto-locking sliding bulkhead door. Features and availability can depend on configuration; verify them on the specific van rather than assuming every example includes them.

Available Delivery Mode automates some repetitive tasks, and the available Power Door Package can automate the bulkhead and curbside doors. These options may be useful for frequent stops, but the published material does not establish that they are standard on every 600.

Check fit, not just volume

The 2026 technical sheet lists 168.9 inches of cargo length, 83.68 inches of wall-to-wall width, 53.53 inches between the wheel housings and 82 inches of interior height with the door closed. Those dimensions exclude optional equipment and accessories. Measure the largest package or piece of equipment, including clearance needed to maneuver it through the opening and around the wheel housings. Cargo volume alone cannot tell you whether a particular load fits.

Plan payload after the upfit

Chevrolet says the cargo area can be customized for tools, boxes or a mobile workstation. Shelving and other upfits take weight and may affect usable payload, so include them when calculating the load. Chevrolet also cautions that equipment from independent suppliers is not covered by GM’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty and that GM is not responsible for the safety or quality of supplier alterations. Confirm fitment, installation requirements and warranty implications with the supplier and dealer before ordering.

What should a fleet buyer compare?

  • Route range: Compare the model year, battery and drivetrain for the actual duty cycle; do not substitute one model-year estimate for another.
  • Loaded payload: Check the vehicle label and deduct occupants, cargo and upfits from the applicable capacity.
  • Cargo access and geometry: Match the interior dimensions and door access to the largest items and the way staff load them.
  • Charging and schedule: Check what charging is available at the depot or along the route and whether the workday allows time to recharge.
  • Option content: Verify whether convenience features such as Delivery Mode or powered doors are included in the specific build or require an available package.

Is the BrightDrop 600 worth considering?

The 600 is worth evaluating for businesses that need a large walk-in cargo van and can match its configuration to their routes, load and charging plan. Its published cargo volume is substantial, but the practical decision turns on more than volume: battery and drivetrain affect range and payload, while upfits add weight and can change what the van can carry. Treat the manufacturer’s range figures as configuration-specific estimates, and make a decision using the build sheet, door-jamb payload label, actual cargo measurements and a location-specific dealer quote.
