What is the BRABUS ROCKET GTS?
BRABUS describes the ROCKET GTS as a hybrid high-performance car that combines its 4.5-liter V8 biturbo engine with electric drive. Its shooting-brake body gives the Mercedes-AMG GT-based car a long-roof profile, rather than the shape of a conventional coupe or sedan. BRABUS introduced the car in a 2024 announcement as part of its Collection 2025.
BRABUS presents the design and aerodynamic components as part of the car’s performance brief. The company says the components are intended to support stability at speeds beyond 300 km/h; that is a manufacturer description, not an independently reported aerodynamic test. How much power does it make?
BRABUS quotes combined system output of 735 kW, or 1,000 hp, and peak torque of 1,820 Nm. The company says torque is electronically limited to 1,620 Nm in the vehicle to protect the drivetrain. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured results. The output belongs to the ROCKET GTS hybrid system; it should not be treated as an independently verified road-test figure.

What tires does the ROCKET GTS use?
Continental says the ROCKET GTS is equipped exclusively with its SportContact 7 high-performance tires. Continental’s announcement identifying the fitment is dated 28 October 2024. That confirms the tire model named for the car, but does not establish the exact tire size on an individual vehicle or whether a particular size is available in every market. Does it actually clown a BMW?
No direct BMW matchup is established by the available reliable sources. They do not say which BMW the headline means, nor provide a same-condition comparison of power, acceleration, top speed, or another performance measure. Without a named model and comparable evidence, “clowns BMW” is rhetoric rather than a verified result.

BRABUS also lists a separate car called the BRABUS 1000, based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE. Its product page quotes 735 kW/1,000 hp, 1,820 Nm, 0–100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, and a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
