Bo’s Turbo electric scooter was announced as a limited, high-speed machine with a potential top speed above 100 mph—not as a scooter that had already set a verified speed record. What is the Bo Turbo?
The Turbo, also called the M-Turbo, is Bo’s speed-focused evolution of its Model-M chassis. It is a distinct product from the standard road-focused Model-M, despite sharing chassis components. Bo describes the Turbo as a limited product.
The “Williams F1 engineers” description needs a little context. Bo says its founders met while working for Williams’ advanced engineering arm; that does not mean the current Williams F1 team built or manufactures the scooter. Williams Advanced Engineering was sold to Fortescue Metals Group in 2022, and Williams Grand Prix Technologies launched as a separate business in 2024.
How fast is it, and has it reached 100 mph?
Bo’s July 18, 2025 announcement said the Turbo had the potential to exceed 100 mph, but also said testing had not yet breached that mark. Bo’s product page lists a 100 mph speed figure. The available information does not establish a later attempt or a verified result, so “targets 100+ mph” is more accurate than calling it a 100 mph record-holder.

The distinction matters: an announced target or manufacturer-listed speed is not the same as an independently measured top speed. The retrieved product information does not state the conditions used for the 100 mph figure.

Is the Turbo street legal?
The available reporting characterizes the Turbo as intended for closed-course use, but it does not provide an official, jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction legal determination. Road legality depends on the rules where it would be ridden, as well as the vehicle’s configuration and applicable approval requirements. Do not assume it can be registered or ridden on public roads in a particular country or state based only on its performance specifications.
How it differs from Bo’s Model-M
The Model-M is Bo’s separate road-focused scooter. A Tom’s Guide ride report from 2025 listed two Model-M variants and their then-reported prices and performance. Those figures are historical, and they should not be mistaken for current prices or Turbo specifications.

The same 2025 report described the Turbo as a modified version under development at the time. The Turbo’s speed-oriented purpose and announced figures make it a very different proposition from those commuter-focused Model-M variants.

The evidence available here does not establish that it is. Bo announced a potential speed above 100 mph and said in July 2025 that testing had not yet passed 100 mph; no verified later result or record certification is established. That is not enough to substantiate a “world’s fastest” claim.

Don’t confuse it with the Dash 3 Williams Edition
Dashmoto announced a separate Dash 3 Williams Edition on May 22, 2026, describing it as developed in collaboration with Atlassian Williams F1 Team. It is not the Bo Turbo. The announcement does not establish detailed specifications or current retail availability, so it cannot support a direct performance comparison.
