BMW says the first model under the relaunched BMW ALPINA marque is due to launch in 2027 and will be inspired by the BMW 7 Series. The company has not yet announced the car’s name, production specifications, price or ordering details.

BMW’s brand page, published on 13 August 2026, says: “The first BMW ALPINA model is due for launch next year. Is Vision BMW ALPINA the production car?
No. BMW calls Vision BMW ALPINA a design study that signals the brand’s direction. It provides visual context for the marque, but BMW has not said that the study itself is the 2027 production model.
