The BMW M4 CSL is a limited-production G82 special edition announced in 2022 and sold as a 2023 U.S.-market model—not a newly released 2024 model, based on BMW’s published material. Was there a 2024 BMW M4 CSL?
BMW’s U.S. announcement dates to May 2022 and describes the car as a 2023 limited edition; BMW M’s archive identifies it as the 2022 G82 M4 CSL. Those sources do not establish a newly released 2024 model. “2024” in the original title is therefore best understood as a search or listing label, not confirmation of a distinct 2024 model year. These are launch prices announced in 2022, not current used-car valuations or dealer offers. The U.S. figure is an MSRP plus destination; the UK figure is an on-the-road starting price, so the currencies and price bases are not directly interchangeable.

A current resale range is not established by those launch announcements. A buyer assessing a specific car needs a current listing or valuation for its market, mileage, condition, history, and specification; the original MSRP alone cannot establish today’s price.

How fast is the BMW M4 CSL?
BMW published separate market specifications. The U.S. release quotes 543 hp, 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds, and an electronically limited 191 mph top speed. The UK release quotes 550 hp, 0–62 mph in 3.7 seconds, and an electronically limited 190 mph. Acceleration uses different distance conventions, and the power figures are presented by market; treat each row as BMW’s own published claim, not an independent test result.

What makes the M4 CSL different?
The CSL combines a turbocharged inline-six with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and rear-wheel drive. BMW’s weight-saving approach includes a two-seat cabin and M Carbon full bucket seats. For the U.S. car, BMW states a curb weight of 3,640 lb, 240 lb less than the M4 Competition, and a 6.7 lb/hp power-to-weight ratio. These are manufacturer-published figures and comparison claims, not independent measurements. The two-seat layout prioritizes the CSL’s focused configuration over the additional seating of a conventional four-seat coupe.

How many BMW M4 CSLs were made?

What Nürburgring time did BMW report?
BMW UK reported two Nordschleife figures: 7:15.677 for the 12.8-mile layout and an official notarised 7:20.207 for the complete 12.943-mile circuit. Because the distances differ, the times should not be compared as if they covered the same lap configuration.
