Judge the motorcycle with both people aboard. Passenger comfort is not a rider-only measurement, and luggage changes the load the suspension must manage.

How to compare a bike for solo adventures
Adventure motorcycles span different designs and route intentions. A model in an adventure lineup is a candidate, not a guarantee that it suits rough trails, long paved distances, or a particular rider.
- Match terrain to design: be specific about the proportion of pavement and unpaved riding and the condition of those roads.

Take both occupants on the evaluation ride where permitted, and discuss the route and luggage you expect to use. If a passenger cannot sit comfortably or the rider cannot manage the loaded motorcycle confidently, move to another candidate rather than relying on a feature list to resolve the fit.
