Capital One Auto Navigator’s April 22, 2024 roundup listed six US electric-vehicle offers with advertised 0% APR financing, spanning 2023 and 2024 model years. The deals were checked using a Southern California ZIP code and were for qualified shoppers—not a verified national list. Terms, eligibility, dealer inventory, and local incentives could differ. Offers below are historical and have expired; they are not available deals today. Read Capital One’s roundup.
Which EVs had 0% APR offers in Capital One’s April 2024 roundup?
The roundup described these advertised financing terms and, where reported, a cash alternative or additional condition. “Up to” means the listed maximum term, not that every buyer or vehicle necessarily qualified for it.

These are the offers listed in Capital One’s April 22 roundup, not proof that no other qualifying promotions existed. Its page also included EV offers at rates above 0% APR; those are not zero-interest financing deals.

Could you choose cash back instead of 0% financing?
For some models, yes: the roundup explicitly presented cash as an alternative to the 0% financing offer. It does not establish that the cash and financing could be combined. In particular, the Kia EV9 offer was described as a choice between 0% financing and $7,500 customer cash; the Ioniq 5 and Niro EV also had reported cash alternatives. Ask the dealer for the written terms for the specific VIN and confirm which incentives can be combined before comparing the options.

What was the UK 0% finance offer?
Mazda Motor UK announced a separate offer for its battery-electric MX-30 on April 1, 2024. This was a UK promotion with different finance products and conditions, so it is not directly comparable with the US offers.
- Hire Purchase (HP): 0% finance for up to five years, with a 40% minimum deposit.
- Personal Contract Purchase (PCP): 0% APR for four years, with no minimum deposit. Mazda also offered a £500 deposit contribution for orders placed by April 2, 2024.
- Home charger: The announcement described a free Pod Point home charger for retail customers.
The £500 contribution was tied to the order deadline; the announcement does not make it a general or continuing offer. See Mazda Motor UK’s announcement.

How should you judge a historical 0% APR EV offer?
- Check the model year. The roundup included both 2023 and 2024 vehicles; an offer for leftover 2023 inventory is not the same as a current-model promotion.
- Check the term and deadline. The advertised periods ranged from 48 months to as long as 72 months, and several listed offers expired at the end of April 2024.
- Verify local eligibility. Capital One checked offers using a Southern California ZIP code and described them as offers for qualified shoppers. Credit approval, dealer inventory, ZIP code, and local incentives may affect the terms available to an individual buyer.
- Compare the actual choices. A cash alternative and 0% financing have different effects on the transaction. Confirm whether incentives are alternatives or combinable in the dealer’s written offer.
The available offer details support comparisons of financing term, reported cash alternatives, and expiration dates. They do not establish which vehicle had the best range, ownership cost, depreciation, or overall quality. A separate model-by-model assessment would be needed to answer those questions.
Offers not included in the April list
A search result for the Toyota bZ4X described 0% APR for 72 months for qualified customers, but its archived record did not establish the promotion month clearly enough to identify it as an April 2024 deal. It is therefore not included in the list above. A separate archived Volkswagen 0% APR offer ending April 30, 2024 applied to the 2024 Tiguan, which is not an EV.
