evo published its spy-shot report and a separate photo gallery on 22 January 2026. The report described the vehicle as a reduced-disguise prototype continuing winter tests. In other words, these were images of a development vehicle, not a confirmed view of the finished production model.

What can you actually tell from the camouflage?
The reduced disguise lets readers see more of the prototype’s exterior than a heavily covered test vehicle would, but photographs of a camouflaged development car cannot establish the final production styling. They also do not confirm its platform, electric motors, battery, range, price, or exact launch date. Treat visible shapes as clues about the test vehicle, not specifications or a guarantee that every detail will carry over to the showroom car.

Is this Bentley’s first electric SUV?
Bentley’s announcement concerned its first fully electric car, which it positioned as a “Luxury Urban SUV.” The phrase “the world’s first true Luxury Urban SUV” is Bentley’s own marketing description, not an independently verified category claim. The January photos showed the prototype associated with that plan; they did not establish a separate production name or confirm additional model details.
Bentley said the model’s design, development, and production would be based at Crewe. Its Beyond100 strategy page describes the company’s broader plans, while its 7 November 2024 Beyond100+ announcement sets out the original Luxury Urban SUV positioning.

When was the electric SUV expected to be revealed?
In its Beyond100+ material, Bentley said its first fully electric car was due to be revealed in 2026. That was the company’s stated reveal plan, not an exact date established by the January spy photos. The photos themselves showed ongoing winter testing, rather than a public unveiling.
