The Bentley Bentayga X Concept is an off-road-focused study based on the Bentayga Speed, revealed at the FAT Ice Race in Zell am See on 30 January 2026. Bentley specifies a 650 PS twin-turbo V8, larger-aspect-ratio off-road tires, a wider track and increased ride height. The company says the concept is intended to gather feedback; it has not announced production, pricing or customer availability in the official material reviewed.
What is the Bentley Bentayga X Concept?
The X is Bentley’s concept for exploring greater off-road capability in its luxury SUV range. It is based on the Bentayga Speed and was revealed at the FAT Ice Race in Zell am See, Austria, on 30 January 2026. Bentley positions it alongside the Bentayga Speed, focused on dynamic performance, and the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase, focused on rear-seat luxury and wellbeing.
Bentley describes the concept as a way to stimulate and gather feedback on an enhanced off-road-capable Bentayga. The reveal also marked the start of a multi-year brand partnership with FAT International. What are the Bentayga X’s specifications?
Bentley’s published figures describe the concept’s design, not independently verified performance. The release does not provide a matched set of standard Bentayga Speed measurements for comparison.

These figures are attributed to Bentley Motors in its 2026 release. The material does not report a third-party test, controlled comparison or measured field result.
How much ground clearance does the Bentayga X have?
Bentley says the concept’s ride height is raised by 55 mm, increasing ground clearance and suspension travel. The release does not state the resulting ground-clearance measurement, so the 55 mm figure is an increase, not a total clearance figure.

How deep can the Bentayga X wade?
Bentley states a wading depth of more than 550 mm. This is a manufacturer-specified figure; the published material does not document an independent water-crossing test or its conditions.
Is the Bentayga X going into production?
Bentley has not announced that the concept will enter production, and the reviewed official material gives no price or customer delivery date. Its stated purpose is to gather feedback about an enhanced off-road Bentayga, so the reveal should not be read as confirmation of a production model.

The X demonstrates the direction Bentley is exploring: applying off-road-oriented wheels and tires, a wider track and a raised ride height to the Bentayga Speed platform. The company’s figures establish its intended design changes, but they do not establish how the concept performs on a particular trail, terrain or water crossing. No independent capability test is reported in the release.
