What is the Badac Adventure Super Shorty 7?
The SS-7 is BADAC Adventure Co.’s compact camper trailer, with a simple enclosed sleeping space and rear storage. The manufacturer describes it as suitable for towing behind crossovers, SUVs, and 4x4s; that description is not a substitute for matching a specific trailer to a vehicle’s ratings. BADAC lists a 48-by-84-inch body and overall dimensions of 139 by 70 inches. Its approximate weight is 700 pounds. That is a model-level estimate, not a confirmed weight for a particular configured or loaded trailer; the pages reviewed do not state its GVWR or rated payload.
The listed running gear includes independent torsion half axles, and the SS-7 page identifies a 54-inch tongue, four-pin electrical connector, and removable two-inch ball coupler. The exact coupler and equipment can vary by configuration, so confirm the build details with BADAC.

What equipment is included?
BADAC’s model overview describes standard features including dual camper doors with windows, a birch interior, a custom mattress, all-terrain tires, and an elastomeric exterior coating. The SS-7 specifications call out a four-inch foam mattress, LED dome light, and rear open storage cabinet. The manufacturer’s prose also mentions a rear gear shelf, locking doors, and a MaxAir vent. Its photos may show equipment beyond standard packages, so ask for a written quote that identifies what is included in the specific trailer.
Does the SS-7 have a kitchen?
The manufacturer’s listed specifications do not include a galley. AutoEvolution’s report on the SS-7 says it lacks a conventional tailgate kitchen and has a rear storage opening instead. Owners can bring a stove and cook outside; cooking equipment should be treated as separate gear, not included trailer equipment.

How much does the Badac SS-7 cost?
BADAC’s homepage advertises the SS-7 at a starting price of $11,400. This is a starting figure, not the price of every build or a delivered trailer. AutoEvolution has reported optional upgrades such as an off-road package, electrical package, roof rack, and storage items, but a current, complete options price list is not established. Request a current itemized quote, including options, taxes, and delivery or pickup terms. Check the BADAC homepage for its current advertised starting price.
How long does an order take, and how is delivery handled?
BADAC’s SS-7 and model pages currently advertise a six-week lead time for new builds, while warning that timing fluctuates with demand and production capacity. Its FAQ describes a quote-based order process, staged payments, shipping handled case by case, and preferred customer pickup at the Tulsa shop. It also cautions that delays can occur. Confirm the schedule, payment milestones, delivery arrangements, and applicable contract terms directly before ordering.

What vehicle can tow the SS-7?
The approximate 700-pound figure alone cannot establish that a vehicle can safely or legally tow a particular SS-7. BADAC’s FAQ towing-capacity recommendation concerns its SD-10, not the SS-7; do not apply the SD-10 recommendation or dry-weight figure to this model.

- Account for cargo and any other load added before towing; ask how the manufacturer’s approximate weight relates to the finished build.
- Check the tow vehicle’s ratings and the hitch’s capacity and compatibility with the trailer.
- Verify the required electrical connection and coupler for the build. The SS-7 page lists a four-pin connector and removable two-inch ball coupler; secondary coverage mentions an optional off-road coupler.
- Check state-specific trailer requirements with the relevant authorities or documentation.
Who is the SS-7 best suited to?
The SS-7’s layout is most relevant to buyers who want a compact enclosed sleeping space and storage, and who are comfortable handling cooking outside rather than relying on an integrated galley.
