Did Atlas Honda launch an electric bike by June 2025?
No. The June 2025 timing was reported as an expectation, rather than a confirmed launch date from Atlas Honda. On March 25, PakWheels reported that dealerships it contacted expected a debut by June, while noting that the model intended for local sale was unclear. Atlas Honda’s April 9 response to a Pakistan Stock Exchange inquiry was more cautious: it said the company was exploring emerging technologies, including a potential move into electric vehicles, and would make a formal product announcement after material progress. On June 24, Atlas Honda said it intended to launch an electric scooter tailored to Pakistani consumers, subject to regulatory permissions and approvals and completion of quality and road tests. The company said it planned to launch during its current financial year; it did not promise a launch by the end of June. The announcement followed on July 28, 2025, when Atlas Honda introduced the ICON e. So the expected June timing did not match the date of the company’s announcement. Atlas Honda’s earlier Benly e presentation at NUST, listed in its news index as February 1, 2024, was a presentation—not evidence of a local retail launch. What is the Atlas Honda electric bike called?
The announced model is the ICON e. Atlas Honda calls it an all-electric “scooty,” or electric scooter, and positions it for urban travel and commuting. How should buyers interpret the stated range and availability?
The 53 km and 65 km figures are the manufacturer’s listed range for Standard and Econ modes. Atlas Honda’s page does not provide a test protocol or say how traffic, rider and passenger weight, weather, road conditions, or riding style affect those results. Treat them as specifications, not guaranteed distance in everyday use; plan a practical commute with a charging margin rather than assuming the listed maximum will always be achievable.
