What is the Atlas ATV?
Atlas ATV is an all-terrain vehicle presented by its manufacturer as amphibious and configurable. ESC Guide listed the vehicle as made in Ukraine in a July 29, 2021 entry; the manufacturer’s current site describes it as ATLAS. The name also appears in a 2021 article as an “extreme all terrain off-roader,” but neither description establishes independent testing or a particular certified use.
For a car enthusiast, the headline connection to the Dacia Duster is potentially useful but easy to overstate: the available engine attribution comes from secondary reporting published in 2021, while the current manufacturer pages inspected do not name an engine.
What are the published specifications?
Atlas’s manufacturer publishes the following figures on its undated product pages. They are advertised specifications, not independently measured results.

The overview and characteristics page also describe air suspension with vibration dampening, high ground clearance, a low center of gravity, differential lock, and control of both pairs of wheels. The manufacturer says a driver familiar with manual-transmission cars can operate Atlas and describes three swivel-wheel operating modes. Those are manufacturer descriptions; the pages do not provide independent test conditions or comparative data.
Capacity deserves practical scrutiny. A stated 12-person maximum and 1,500 kg maximum load do not, by themselves, establish how much payload remains with a full passenger complement, equipment, or particular terrain and water conditions. Ask the manufacturer for configuration-specific loading guidance before planning an actual trip or task.

Is Atlas powered by a Dacia Duster engine?
A Sia Magazin article dated October 7, 2021 reported that Atlas used a Renault 1.5 dCi borrowed from the Dacia Duster, with 90 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The article attributes the detail to Atlas ATV. That is the source of the Duster-power claim; the manufacturer’s current overview and characteristics page do not state the engine model or output.
Accordingly, the most precise answer is that a 2021 report described a Duster-related Renault diesel engine, not that current Atlas configurations are confirmed to use it. Anyone evaluating a particular vehicle should request its engine specification, output, emissions information, and drivetrain details in writing for that build.

The manufacturer’s configurator shows seating choices of 1, 3, 5, and 7 seats, alongside listed options including a front camera, rearview camera, towbar, and air conditioning. The overview says Atlas can be modified at a customer’s request; that is a manufacturer statement, not evidence that every proposed modification is available or validated for every use.
The configurator’s seating choices do not align neatly with the overview’s maximum capacity of 12 passengers. Confirm the exact seating layout, legal occupant count, and payload for the configuration being quoted rather than assuming the listed options explain the maximum figure.

What is not established by the published information?
The reviewed manufacturer and secondary pages do not establish independent performance tests, safety testing, certifications, road legality, or permission to use public waterways. They also do not publish current price, inventory, lead time, warranty terms, or shipping geography. A claim that Atlas is amphibious and has a stated water speed should not be read as proof of authorization to operate on a particular road or waterway.
