Aston Martin quotes a slightly quicker 0–100 km/h time for the DBX707; Lamborghini quotes a slightly higher top speed for the Urus SE. The figures below are manufacturer specifications, not results from an independent head-to-head test.
Which is faster: the DBX707 or Urus SE?
It depends on the measure. Aston Martin quotes 3.3 seconds for the DBX707 to accelerate from 0–100 km/h, compared with Lamborghini’s 3.4 seconds for the Urus SE. Lamborghini gives the Urus SE a 312 km/h top speed, marginally above Aston Martin’s 310 km/h claim for the DBX707.
| Manufacturer-quoted specification | Aston Martin DBX707 | Lamborghini Urus SE |
|---|---|---|
| Power | 707 PS / 697 bhp (Aston Martin) | 800 CV (Lamborghini) |
| Torque | 900 Nm (Aston Martin) | Not stated on the cited Urus SE model page |
| 0–100 km/h | 3.3 seconds (Aston Martin) | 3.4 seconds (Lamborghini) |
| Top speed | 310 km/h (Aston Martin) | 312 km/h (Lamborghini) |
Power labels are preserved as each maker publishes them: PS and bhp for Aston Martin, CV for Lamborghini. These units should not be silently treated as identical. The DBX707 figures come from Aston Martin’s UK DBX707 specifications; Urus SE performance figures are from Lamborghini’s Urus SE model page.
How their powertrains differ
Aston Martin DBX707: twin-turbo V8
The DBX707 is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8. Aston Martin lists output at 707 PS / 697 bhp and 900 Nm of torque. It is the straightforward choice between these two if you want a conventional combustion-engine powertrain rather than a plug-in hybrid.
#1 Best Overall
Lamborghini Urus SE: plug-in hybrid
The Urus SE pairs a combustion engine with electric drive as a plug-in hybrid. Lamborghini lists 800 CV of combined power. That powertrain distinction matters beyond the headline output: charging access and the way a plug-in hybrid fits daily use may influence a buyer’s choice, but the cited specifications do not establish real-world electric range or running costs.
What the available dimensions say about the Urus SE
Lamborghini’s 2026 Urus SE brochure lists a length of 5,123 mm, a 3,003 mm wheelbase, a width of 2,022 mm excluding mirrors, and a height of 1,638 mm. Those figures give a sense of the Urus SE’s substantial footprint, especially its width. The available sources do not provide an equivalent DBX707 dimension set, so they do not support a reliable size-versus-size verdict.

Price depends on market—and the figures are incomplete
Aston Martin’s US campaign page lists a starting MSRP of $236,000 for the DBX707. This is a US-market starting price, not a transaction-price guarantee or a price that applies globally. The cited sources do not provide a like-for-like current US Urus SE starting MSRP, so this figure alone cannot establish which SUV costs less.

Why efficiency figures need a like-for-like comparison
The figures the manufacturers publish for efficiency in the cited material use different test systems and markets: Aston Martin’s are UK WLTP figures, while Lamborghini displays US EPA figures. WLTP and EPA results are not directly comparable, so those numbers cannot support a fair efficiency ranking. A useful comparison would require figures for both vehicles from the same market and test cycle.

Check the exact Urus variant
“Urus” does not identify one fixed specification. Lamborghini’s model-family history page lists a 650 CV Urus variant with a 0–100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds; that is not the Urus SE. When comparing listings or specifications, confirm the trim and model year rather than applying one Urus figure to the whole range.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What the published figures cannot tell you
Manufacturer specifications are useful for comparing advertised output and performance claims, but they do not settle how these SUVs compare in independent acceleration tests, handling, ride comfort, reliability, maintenance, insurance, depreciation, or real-world economy. Those ownership and driving questions need evidence beyond the cited manufacturer pages.
