Aston Martin has not officially announced a DBX GT in the sources available as of October 3, 2026. A report published by Luxurylaunches on October 1 describes one as a quieter, more comfort-focused counterpart to the DBX S, retaining its reported 727 PS V8, 193-mph top speed and carbon-ceramic brakes. Those DBX GT details remain reported claims, not a confirmed Aston Martin specification.
What is the Aston Martin DBX GT?
The DBX GT is the name used in a Luxurylaunches report published October 1, 2026. The report presents it as a more discreet, quieter and more comfort-oriented version of Aston Martin’s high-performance DBX, rather than a lower-powered SUV. Aston Martin’s official materials collected for this article cover the DBX S and DBX707, but do not announce or specify a DBX GT.
That makes the Porsche 911 Touring a useful analogy for the reported idea: keep the performance, reduce some of the visual and acoustic aggression. It is an editorial comparison, not evidence that the cars are objectively equivalent. The Touring is a sports car; the reported DBX GT is an SUV whose existence and specification still require official confirmation.
How fast is the reported DBX GT?
Luxurylaunches says the DBX GT uses the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 as the DBX S, with 727 PS and 900 Nm of torque. It reports 3.1 seconds for 0–60 mph and a 193-mph top speed. These are claims in that article, not published DBX GT figures from Aston Martin.

The unit matters: 727 PS is approximately 717 mechanical horsepower, not 727 hp. Aston Martin’s official April 30, 2025 DBX S launch release labels its output as 727 PS and 900 Nm, and gives a claimed 0–62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a 193-mph top speed. The two acceleration figures use different distances and should not be treated as a direct like-for-like comparison.
The same release says lightweight options can reduce the DBX S’s weight by up to 47 kg compared with the continuing DBX707. That is an options-dependent reduction stated by Aston Martin, not a published DBX GT weight saving.

Does the DBX GT have carbon-ceramic brakes?
The Luxurylaunches report says the DBX GT carries over carbon-ceramic brakes. Aston Martin’s current UK DBX707 model page specifies carbon-ceramic discs measuring 420 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear. Those dimensions confirm the DBX707 equipment, not the reported GT’s brake hardware; no official DBX GT brake specification is established here.
How is the reported DBX GT different from the DBX S?
The DBX S is an officially announced model with manufacturer-published performance figures. The DBX GT, by contrast, is described only in the October 1 report. The distinctions below reflect that difference in evidence as well as the report’s account of the GT’s intended character.

Is a comfort-focused DBX mode new?
No. Aston Martin already describes a GT drive mode on the DBX707, tuned for touring comfort, on its UK model page. The reported DBX GT’s quieter, less aggressive GT mode would therefore be a claimed refinement of an existing idea within the DBX range, not the first appearance of a touring-oriented setting.

The quieter cabin, revised damping and springs, altered exhaust, additional seat cushioning, rear-seat description, restrained styling, GT performance figures and brake carryover all come from the Luxurylaunches report. The report also said pricing had not been announced on October 1, 2026. Without an official announcement, those details should be understood as reported, not as confirmed specifications or proof that the vehicle can be ordered.
