Available figures suggest Cybertruck sales remained modest in the first half of 2026, but they do not show whether Tesla’s temporary price offer changed demand. The Atlantic reported an estimate of roughly 7,000 Cybertrucks sold in that period; Tesla does not publish a Cybertruck-only delivery count in the cited reports, and the estimate is not a before-and-after measure of the offer.
What do the latest Cybertruck sales figures show?
The latest model-specific figure cited here is an estimate, not a Tesla-reported total. In July 2026, The Atlantic reported that an estimate put Cybertruck sales at roughly 7,000 in the first half of 2026. The passage does not identify the estimate’s original data publisher, so the figure should be treated as approximate and attributed to The Atlantic’s report.

For comparison, Car and Driver reported estimates of roughly 24,000 Cybertrucks sold in 2024 and 15,000 through the first half of 2025. Those are also publication-reported estimates, not figures from Tesla’s model-level delivery disclosures. They provide historical context, but they are not a like-for-like test of the February 2026 offer.
Why Tesla’s delivery reports cannot confirm Cybertruck sales
Tesla groups the Cybertruck with other vehicles in its “Other Models” delivery category rather than reporting it separately. For full-year 2025, Tesla reported 50,850 deliveries in that category, against 1,636,129 total vehicle deliveries. In Q2 2026, “Other Models” accounted for 12,364 of 480,126 total deliveries. Neither “Other Models” number is a Cybertruck count: the category includes vehicles besides the pickup.

Tesla also cautions that deliveries are only one measure of performance. Its Q2 2026 release says deliveries “should not be relied on as an indicator of quarterly financial results,” which also depend on factors such as average selling price, cost of sales and foreign exchange movements. What was the cheaper Cybertruck offer?
Reuters reported that Tesla announced a $59,990 dual-motor all-wheel-drive Cybertruck in February 2026. Elon Musk said the offer would be effective for the next 10 days. Reuters said the price after that period was unclear at publication, so $59,990 should not be presented as the truck’s current starting price.

The same report said Tesla reduced the Cyberbeast price to $99,990 from $114,990. Those prices and package details describe the announcement at that time, not necessarily the current configurator. Did the price cut increase sales?
The cited evidence cannot establish that it did—or that sales stayed flat. The roughly 7,000 estimate covers the first half of 2026, while the temporary offer was announced in February; the available reporting does not provide a verified before-and-after sales series tied to the offer. Without a model-specific delivery figure and comparable sales periods, it is not possible to measure the offer’s effect from these sources.

How Tesla’s wider results fit in
Tesla’s 2025 Form 10-K reported that automotive sales revenue fell $6.66 billion, or 9%, compared with 2024. The company cited several factors, including approximately 8% fewer cash deliveries and a lower average selling price per unit. These are company-wide results, not Cybertruck-specific figures, and do not explain the pickup’s sales. Tesla’s 2025 Form 10-K provides the broader financial context.
