The cited product information does not establish a passenger-carrying capacity or a storage-volume figure, so confirm those needs directly with the seller rather than assuming scooter-like utility.
Choose the RayZR if you want a powered scooter
The RayZR is the more fitting category if your priority is a petrol-powered automatic scooter and its under-seat storage. Yamaha publishes 21 L of storage and a 5.2 L tank. Whether that makes it right for your particular commute depends on your route, passenger and cargo requirements, local prices, and the exact variant available to you.
Range, charging and fuel claims
For the question “What is the range of the Aoki Sherpa Z1 on a full charge?”, the available published figure is 40–50 km, reported by ZigWheels in September 2026 alongside a 0.36 kWh battery and four-hour charge time. The RayZR uses petrol, and Yamaha lists its tank capacity as 5.2 L. That capacity alone does not tell you how far it will travel on a tank. The material cited here does not provide a comparable independent mileage test for either vehicle, so it cannot establish a range or running-cost winner.
What Yamaha’s “Hybrid” features mean
Yamaha describes the RayZR’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) as attached to the crankshaft without gears, saying it “Enables quieter start & eliminates the sound of meshing gears.” Its brochure also describes a stop-and-start function that switches off the engine when the scooter is stopped and idling; Yamaha says this improves fuel economy “up to 4%.” That percentage is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independently verified result.

- How long is your usual trip, and can you charge an electric bicycle at home or work?
