The company’s current preorder page lists prices from $119,990 and estimates production in the second half of 2027—a later timeline than the 2026 targets it announced initially.
What Evotrex announced
Evotrex said it would use its $16 million Pre-A round to expand its engineering and product teams and advance commercialization of its first product. The round was led by Xstar Capital; Evotrex also named Unity Ventures, Kylinhall Partners, Vision Plus Capital, and the founders of Anker Innovations among its backers. Evotrex’s November 2025 announcement and TechCrunch’s coverage of the stealth launch described the Anker connection. In June 2026, TechCrunch reported a further $30 million Series A, bringing reported total funding to $46 million, and identified Anker among the seed investors. TechCrunch’s Series A report provides that later funding update.
How the PG5 hybrid power system is supposed to work
The first announced product is now called the Evotrex-PG5. It is a trailer towed by a separate vehicle, not a fully electric tow vehicle. In the hybrid setup described by TechCrunch, a battery supplies power for the living quarters, electronics, and an electric motor, while a gas engine recharges the battery. Evotrex’s current product page lists a 43 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, up to 1.5 kW of integrated solar, and a 75 kW onboard generator. The company describes the PG5 as a power-generating RV intended for extended off-grid use. Evotrex’s PG5 product page contains its current system specifications.
Current price and estimated production timing
Evotrex’s current preorder page lists the standard PG5 from $119,990 and the Premium from $159,990. The company asks for a $100 deposit and says it is fully refundable. These are company-listed prices and terms, not independent dealer quotes; Evotrex says price, options, and specifications may change until a customer’s build is finalized. The current preorder page estimates production in the second half of 2027 and says Premium buyers will receive priority delivery when production begins in the first half of 2027.

The schedule has shifted. At the January 6, 2026, CES announcement, Evotrex opened preorders and said production was expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. Later FAQ copy retained a target before the end of 2026. Those earlier dates are superseded expectations, not delivery commitments; the current preorder page provides the newer estimate. The company’s FAQ contains its towing guidance and earlier schedule information.

The figures below are Evotrex’s published specifications and claims for a pre-production trailer, not independently verified performance results. The company says final production specifications may change. Its product page and preorder page list the following:

What tow-vehicle owners need to verify
The listed dry weight is not enough to determine whether a vehicle can tow a PG5. Evotrex lists a maximum loaded weight (GVWR) of 9,500 lb for the standard trim and 9,900 lb for Premium. Actual towing suitability also depends on the specific tow vehicle and loaded combination. Evotrex advises customers to consult the tow-vehicle manual and check with the manufacturer or dealer; it does not provide a vehicle-specific recommendation in the cited guidance. Evotrex’s FAQ directs buyers to that verification.

The PG5’s headline energy and off-grid figures do not establish how it will perform in a particular trip or against another RV.
