Alfa Romeo unveiled the 33 Stradale “Perla Nera” at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese on 28 September 2026. Its defining feature is a fully exposed matte carbon-fibre body—the only example in the 33-car modern 33 Stradale series with that treatment. The name, meaning “Black Pearl,” was chosen and officially registered by the car’s owner.
What makes Perla Nera different
The body’s special carbon-fibre layup and matte finish are intended to emphasize the car’s forms, symmetry and volume. Rather than covering the material with conventional paint, this configuration makes the exposed carbon fibre the car’s most conspicuous visual feature. Alfa Romeo describes it as unique within the series.
The bespoke specification continues in the cabin and luggage:
- Alcantara upholstery and carbon-fibre details.
- Redesigned seats and headrests.
- An Alfa selector engraved with the owner’s initials.
- Black Alcantara luggage with a numbered badge.
One unique configuration within a 33-car project
“One-off” needs a little context here. Perla Nera is the unique owner-named, owner-configured example highlighted in Alfa Romeo’s announcement; it is not a separate production run. The modern 33 Stradale project is limited to 33 cars, with customer participation in personalization. Perla Nera was developed through Bottega Alfa Romeo, within BOTTEGAFUORISERIE—the bespoke context for its customization, not an indication that this particular car is available to order.

33 Stradale performance figures: what is established
Alfa Romeo’s model page lists the modern 33 Stradale with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 producing 620 HP, a top speed of 333 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds. These are manufacturer-stated figures for the model; the Perla Nera announcement does not identify a unique powertrain or a performance change for this car. No independent instrumented test or Perla Nera-specific performance measurement is established.
