The V6 is the version foregrounded on Alfa Romeo’s current model page; the BEV is a separate, highly specified option with a manufacturer-estimated range of about 450 km under WLTP. Both belong to a bespoke series limited to 33 cars.
Is the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale electric?
It can be, but the 33 Stradale is a two-powertrain project rather than an electric-only model. Alfa Romeo’s launch announcement describes both a combustion version and a battery-electric version, while the brand’s current model page emphasizes the V6. The company positioned the car as a bridge between its combustion heritage and electric future, wrapped in a modern interpretation of the 1967 33 Stradale. Stellantis’ launch announcement gives the broader project context.
The powertrain choice changes the character and specifications substantially. Published details are manufacturer figures, not independent road-test results.
How do the V6 and electric versions compare?
| Specification | V6 | Battery electric |
|---|---|---|
| Power | Alfa Romeo’s current model page states 620 hp; Stellantis’ technical sheet lists over 620 CV. | Over 750 CV, according to Stellantis’ technical sheet. |
| Powertrain and drive | 3.0-liter, 90-degree twin-turbo V6; eight-speed dual-clutch transmission; rear-wheel drive. | 800 V architecture, with torque vectoring; the technical sheet does not state transmission details. |
| Energy storage | 60-liter fuel tank. | 102 kWh installed battery capacity and 90 kWh usable capacity. |
| Range or fuel use | Fuel-consumption figure not stated in the technical sheet. | Approximately 450 km WLTP, an estimated manufacturer figure. |
| Top speed | 333 km/h on Alfa Romeo’s current model page. | Above 310 km/h in Stellantis’ technical sheet. |
| 0–100 km/h | Under 3 seconds, according to Alfa Romeo’s current model page. | Under 3 seconds in Stellantis launch and technical material. |
Figures use the units and claims of their respective sources: Alfa Romeo’s current page uses hp for the V6 headline power, while Stellantis’ technical sheet gives power in CV. Neither source provides independent verification. The technical sheet and launch announcement are available from Stellantis and the technical specification sheet; Alfa Romeo’s current headline V6 figures appear on its 33 Stradale model page.

What performance does Alfa Romeo claim?
Alfa Romeo lists 620 hp, a 333 km/h top speed and a 0–100 km/h time of under three seconds for the V6 on its current model page. Stellantis’ launch material claims more than 620 hp for the combustion car and more than 750 hp for the electric version, along with a shared 0–100 km/h time under three seconds. The technical sheet also lists braking from 100 to 0 km/h in under 33 metres.
These are manufacturer claims. The published materials do not establish independent acceleration, braking or top-speed test results, so the figures should be read as specifications rather than verified real-world performance.

What is the electric range of the 33 Stradale?
Stellantis estimates approximately 450 km of WLTP range for the electric 33 Stradale. Its technical sheet pairs that estimate with an 800 V architecture and a battery rated at 102 kWh installed and 90 kWh usable. WLTP is a standardized test-cycle estimate; the figure is not a promise of the distance a driver will achieve in everyday conditions. The cited manufacturer material does not give an independent range test.
How does the 33 Stradale connect to the 1967 original?
Alfa Romeo presents the modern car as a respectful reinterpretation of the 1967 33 Stradale, carrying forward the earlier car’s design identity rather than reproducing it. The project also marks the brand’s return to bespoke “fuoriserie” production, with customer-led personalization through its Bottega program. Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera is the handcrafting partner.

Alfa Romeo and Stellantis also describe double-wishbone suspension with active dampers and a front-axle lift. Inside, the manufacturer describes an aviation-inspired cockpit with analogue and digital instrumentation, a retractable display and Cannelloni-ribbed details.
What are the driving modes?
Alfa Romeo describes two modes, “Strada” and “Pista.” The names signal the road-and-track framing of the car, but the supplied public specifications do not detail the precise changes each mode makes to power delivery, suspension or other systems. Treat the labels as manufacturer descriptions, not as a substitute for a road test.

How many Alfa Romeo 33 Stradales will be made?
Alfa Romeo announced a 33-car series in 2023 and said the cars had sold out at launch. That is a dated launch statement, not confirmation of present resale availability. A later production announcement says the first completed car left the Rivalta workshop on 17 December 2024, ready for delivery; it does not establish how many cars have since been completed or delivered. Alfa Romeo’s production announcement records that milestone.
Can you still buy one, and what does it cost?
No definitive retail price is established in the cited official material. With all 33 reported sold at launch, a buyer now would need current specialist-market information to determine whether an example is available and at what price; the launch announcement does not establish current resale inventory.
